I must thoroughly disagree with your assessment of Kosovo being plagued with poverty. Apparently you have never been there. I took my family to Prizren several weeks ago. Therefore I am speaking from experience. What do you have to share?

Laughable. This is the same MSG who drives his finger through Google Street View of Serbia, and despite the existence of gasoline stations throughout the country, still claims “ no one “ drives a gasoline powered in Serbia.
Poor fraudulent troll, who persistently incriminates himself and his many monikers with his intellectual bankruptcy.

Who would ever put 15 year olds in the category of those working.
(Jay Thomas, 14 September 2020 00:43)

The World Bank does just that in its March 2019 report on Kosovo. It categorizes levels of unemployment between the ages of 15 and 24.
Now who is foolish?

MSG.....I agree that poverty is a measure only, and is flexible. Perhaps the people you have come across in Kosovo are used to the way of life and dont feel as though they live in poverty. You are right, its a state of mind. However by all European and Unicef measures 30% of Kosovo lives in poverty. Unemployment is rife and youth unemployment is at approx 57% (thats 15 to 24 yr old, no matter what Jay Thomas says).
And if you research a bit I quoted a article from the Tirana Times (11/06/20) about mass movement of Kosovo Albanians out of Kosovo between '08-'18. The report is shocking with 30% of the population leaving to find a new life elsewhere.
Kosovo is not wealthy. It is poor with little prospect for young people. Its a similar scene in the whole Balkans but Kosovo and Albania are top by a long distance.

View from the uk,
You are claiming statistics about Kosovo that are patently false. Who would ever put 15 year olds in the category of those working. This is just a tip off of the sort of bogus claims involved in your statements. At the least, read what you are quoting before making such ridiculous claims. Apparently, you are hastily putting together such nonsense just to make a response, albeit a fake one. You are simply trying too hard to deceive for your cause, and end up looking foolish.

Make Serba Great.......so you think Kosovo is not that poor???
By all reports Kosovo is the 3rd poorest area in Europe. 30% of people live in piverty. 57% of 15-24 year olds are unemployed.
30% of Albanians left Kosovo between 2008-2018. These are just some facts and figures. If Kosovo was not that poor explain why 30% of the population left in a 10 year period???
And no I have never been to that part of Europe. However I've never been to Angola either but I do know its poor.......
(View from the uk, 12 September 2020 18:20)

I understand the statistics. But poverty is an on-the-ground reality. Poverty is a state of being. As far as I can tell from visiting Kosovo on five separate occasions, the people are not living in poverty. I agree that downtown Priština is very ugly in places, but if you drive from Kuršumlija to Priština to Prizren and Peć and back, you don't see any poverty to speak of. Coming from Kuršumlija to Priština, just compare the last Serbian village to the first village on the Kosovo side. It's like night and day. That is the reality, statistics or not.

Of course, as you can tell by my screen name, I hope to help make Serbia great. But we won't get anywhere by degrading others or denying reality.

My invite to Mr Bilcik was to explain to b92. net his double standards
As for the British, Great Britain I am glad to be connected with such rich country that everything works Many years ago I made a good choice
As for Mr Vladimir Bilcik? No problem. I shall try to reach him by other means of communication to hear his explanation
My question is why France, Israel are allowed to interfere in a dispute between the Greece&Turkwy but Serbia isn't allowed to hold military exercises with Belarus?

The whole world condemns Lukashenko, with the exception of Russia, and the Serbian government wanted to go and play war games with them! Unbelievable. Sanctions should come now - not only against Lukashenko and his cronies but against Vucic and his lapdogs Brnabic and Vulin. Or perhaps its time to do a few war games in Serbia too.
