If Serbia recognises Kosovo then this action nullifies all illegalities from western recognition of the province to bombing of Serbia.
What is in it for Serbia to recognise Kosovo? There is nothing concrete on offer nor does the west have anything up their sleeve to offer.
EU membership? but that’s not as appealing as 20/30 years ago since today there are no benefits in joining the EU. The finances of yesteryear are no longer on the table, and Serbia would be getting crumbs for handing over its territory and sovereignty. For those who think Kosovo is already lost, a word to the wise, the EU/US would not be pursing this if it’s a done deal. It’s not over by very a long shot.

I’d guess Trump would walk away from Kosovo tomorrow but he can’t since forces outside the Presidency run foreign policy. This situation will continue until November then who ever wins will have an economic catastrophe on their hands and Kosovo will be the least of their worries.
Vucic is one of the finest actors I have come across. He looks worried and plays the part of the underdog brilliantly, but despite rumours abounding the division of Kosovo, it’s not happening. Vucic is a nationalist.

Populations will need to be exchanged (no way around this)... us and eu can fund the move.

100 year peace deal between Albania and Serbia will be signed.

Completely agree with sj, this is a mess of America and EU, mainly Germany, making. They want Serbia to get them off the hook by recognising kosovo independence. 3) To avoid any trouble I would use LC, not passport. You (or Serbs) can't stamp LC.
