But I must say that the ruling party is very capable of keeping the vote by bribing the elderly, doling out jobs only to those who vote in their favor, and giving bribes for attending their rallies.

I've seen videos of the exact opposite. I've seen people just sitting on a park bench and police approaching them with truncheons and dogs beating them.
Even if those people tried to provoke the police earlier on it's not reason to approach them when they weren't doing anything and laying into them.
The truth always lies somewhere in the middle.

Minister Stefanovic is correct. Its a constant aim by the opposition to take charge of the country by force.
Disrespecting people vote.
An action by the police is an appropriate.
Demos. Meant to be peaceful but in Serbia they do not know what that means. Destroying properties paid by tax payers has to stop.
Police are here to keep law and order, keep peace.
Protect properties.
Hitting a policeman is an offence and the other way around.
