When a country loses a war in such a spectacular manner as did Serbia, they should expect that there will be many unpleasant changes to take place. Remember, to the victor go the spoils.

Teddy, what is it exactly that you supposedly won??? Do you mean the US/NATO jumping in to help so you don't get annihilated? Allowing a foreign occupation, which is basically there to pillage the natural resources, to occupy the land you're trying to steal? Having the worse economy in the world, basically no investment because every country knows you're a pseudo-state? I don'y know, which is it Ted?

Here is the best solution in my opinion. Serbia will not recognizes Kosovo as a country its not going to happen. Kosovo will not give N. Mitrovica special status like a autonomy as well as making Kosovo into Bosnia 2.0. The idea for a war is long gone and passed we can all agree to that unless your some idiot stuck in 1999.

The best idea is this you switch borders. N. Mitrovica goes into Serbia and Presheva/Medvexha/Bujanoc goes into Kosovo. The Serbian List as far as the parliament is concerned in Kosovo is gone. So then Kosovo can turn around change the constitution and join Albania. That way they have a U.N seat representation in the E.U and all of the organisations then in return Serbia can blame U.S.A for creating a Ethnic Albania like they did with the bombings in 1999 and we can all move forward.

NO BODY WANTS TO SEE KOSOVO BECOME BOSNIA 2.0 trust me.

The steady evolution:

Sui generis -> Mutual recognition -> no support for change in territories -> support for land swap -> ... (upcoming) reintegration with Serbia

This denial of reality is appalling. Mustafa is saying the goal of the dialogue is to keep Kosovo intact while also finding a way to get full recogniton from Serbia, as well as the rest of the world. That's not happening.

The change in rhetoric from Western overlords of Kosovo is an admission that their strategy of trying to unilaterally legitimize Albanian statehood has failed. Now, it is up to Albanians to lower their aspirations and accept a painful compromise or be forever a partially recognized pseudostate.

There's also the question of what your consequences will be from your Western sponsors, if no compromise is reached. They could pull the plug on financing altogether which would cripple this whole project. It's not 1999 or 2008 anymore.

It's funny Mr Mustafa listing amongst usa also EU as an allies.
Neither of the two are willing to rub shoulders with kosovo*"politicians"
What I know and I repeat EU definitely have no stomach for Albania, BiH,
Makedonija,
TURKEY.
Kosovo isn't the country so EU entrance is far, far far away.
Sweet dreams must continue Mr Mustafa.
Albos have no intelligence to work out the most important player is
Rep. Serbia.
If yours was "country" UN res. 1244 would not be in full force,
Unmik, Kfor would not be there.
Since 2008 many countries are de recognizing and more to come out.
Its deluding oneself that something stolen is yours.
Give up.

Just saying..

It looks like the lockdown has made View's hallucinations even worse.
Albin Kurti said it best when he said let's liberate Serbia from Kosova. Serbia is rotting away with Milosevic's leftovers like Vucic and Dacic in charge. Serbia has been deteriorating so much to the point that now it has been declared a country with HYBRID REGIME. Next year they will "graduate" to a total regime.😁

Its absurd how Mustafa talks about Serbia recognising its stolen lands as a country. In fact all Albanians are deluded.
I have read many reports & listened to Albanian politicians, etc, about respecting int. borders, sovereignty, and so on. How strange that only now do the Albanians ask Serbia to respect int borders!!??
This is truly comical. Where was this talk of respecting borders in the 90s?

As for the Int Court of Justice, well, thats a bit of a joke. Suppose it was a Spanish judge from Madrid sitting at top table? Would Albanians have accepted this? Or what about a Greek judge? Why not a Russian, Chinese, Mexican, Brazilian judge...??
I agree that no land should be exchanged......how can you exchange land that already belongs to you?
What about the highest int body on the planet.....the UN?
What about res 1244 which Albanians signed? Where is the respect here?
No, Serbia should refuse to talk to land grabbing terrorists. The only thing to agree is the level of autonomy......which they signed up to.

"He also believes that the Declaration of Independence of Kosovo and the opinion of the International Court of Justice are closed topics"

Both reach different conclusions. Kosovo's UDI is just that: a UDI. The ICJ ruling basically said there's nothing illegal about a UDI but states are under no obligation to recognize the validity or the legality of it. If Mustafa was up on his international law, he'd realize citing the ICJ's ruling does little to help his argument since it basically affirms Kosovo as a disputed territory stuck in a frozen conflict with no prospects of conflict resolution.
