Matters NOTHING if you're Catholic, Islamic, Orthodox, Hindu or any other denomination....if you have not the Son of God Jesus Christ, who died on the cross and was risen on the 3rd day, you have NO hope...for ONLY thru this sacrifice of the Lamb will you find salvation and avoid the wrath of the Lion, who will return looking for his vengeance!

REPENT!!...NOW is the time, while it is still day!

Good story! According some sources there is “something” more, than just a simple prayer:

In Iranian case you mention, the BCG vaccination wasn’t available before 1984.

Irinej was born under a much luckier star, in Yugoslavia of 1930.
Yugoslavia and Soviet Union were enforcing BCG from the begin on (1928).

From the “complete” list:

- “crossing three times the proper, Pravoslav way”
- “kissing YOUR VERY OWN, PRIVATE icon of Saint Pantaleon”
- “hitting the virus on it’s head with a bottle full of vodka”
- “drinking all of that vodka”
- “vaccinate kids by BCG”

most can be (God-willing) skipped. But there are priorities.

From that list Irinej was subject to at least three.
The unfortunate imam in Iran skipped all of them - and kissed definitely the wrong thing.

Saint Pantaleon never told, anyone has to “share” his icon.
Just to the contrary. According Pravoslav believers of a major country, his main responsibility is to heal people.

A metal fence kissed by masses of Shia believers is not Saint Pantaleon.

The blessed way for everyone, who believes into that tradition is to have very own, private icon of Saint Pantaleon.
That icon is not to be shared even between people who live in the same household.

Does that kind of stuff invented around 305AD help, I do not know.
I don’t think so. But since 305AD no one was able to prove the opposite.

Yes, there’s the laughable KLA terrorists from the KiM fenced-in ghetto who blindly pray to their war-mongering USA deity and were recently stung with the decree to not only remove all tariffs, but to also discard one of their disobedient terrorists.

Pray or not won’t make much difference.

Staying indoors will.

Why does a religious person have to say this? I guess because some religious people who have believed god will protect them have died. Did you see that imam in Iran for example who died a week after he said that going to the mosque would overrule the effects of the virus?

There must be other stories like this.

But we would be able to do that, given that the people have accepted the invitation to refrain from communication, so there may not be so many worshipers. It is perfectly possible to carry out this to make the distance satisfactory, and those who are in crowds should remain outside, as is the case with Russians and some other peoples. So, both sides are satisfied," he said.

"However, we accept the standpoint of the people who are involved in the matter (concerning the coronavirus infection), and we will respect it," the Patriarch said.

Apropos, Russians. Prayer is good, work is even better.

"Die international tätige russische Baugesellschaft RŽD Internešnl und lokale Bauunternehmen haben am 03.04.2020 trotz der durch das Coronavirus verursachten Krise den Durchschlag der rechten Tunnelröhre für den Čortanovci-Tunnel feiern können. Der Tunnel ist Bestandteil der Ausbaustrecke (Beograd -) Stara Pazova - Novi Sad (- Subotica - Budapest)."

It's clearly: "trotz der durch das Coronavirus verursachten Krise".

Not clear, why B92 reported about a questionable "бизнисмен" coming to Serbia from Russia, apologies, from Malta with "love" - but RŽD heroes working day and night and despite "Corona" breaking the right tube of the Čortanovci tunnel is not reported.

What "RŽD" does mean is probably clear.
