What do Serbs actually defend in Montenegro?

Byzantine Orthodox churches were their and Roman Catholic 500 years even before Serbs arrived to the Balkans. Sure and Serbs destroyed well over 400 churches and mosques in the 1990's. Same with historical places etc now Serbs want sympathy. More likely it is God's judgement on the Serbs for all their sins and unrepentant. Serb clergy even blessed those war criminals of their heinous crimes.

There are several schools of how old buildings are preserved and restored.
I feel that the two opposite poles are the Spas-Nereditsa near Novgorod vs. Zhica or Pec Patriarchate.

In one case all scientific methods are used to restore what seem to be destroyed.
With great help of local population and honored scientists it will be a success.

On the other side are the bright red buildings of Zhica, than the Pec Patriarchate.

Kind of similar that "thanks" to zeal of Orbán there are dozens of "new-old" castles in Hungary.

Feels very good except that these castles are straight re-builds, not reconstruction.

In Georgia the Cathedral of Bagrat in Kutaisi was some controversy.

It is worth to note that these "rebuilds" are politically motivated, not according what monument is in better shape.
For instance the nearby ruins of Zsámbék monastery are in far better shape than some newly re-built "castles". It would cost about $10mio to re-build Zsámbék as it was.
No, more money is spent on questionable castle "restoration".

I am afraid, the politically motivated "restoration" campaign in CG could cause more harm than good.

So better to be conservative and try to preserve first what is in better shape.

The best example is indeed Spas Nereditsa near Novgorod. Who has chance should look at the history of that church and at the great work of scientists accomplished.

And before Christianity today bosnians, croats and serbs belonged together and had the same slavic gods.
