If anything, the EU has only worsened the situation and prevented a compromise solution.

My suggestion to everyone: grab all video and photo equipment and concentrate on Pec patriarchate and Bogorodica Ljevishka.

The goal is to document every single square mm of frescoes and the architecture.

Same happened with Spas on Nereditsa. It was the best-studied and best-documented medieval church near Novgorod the Great.

The Germans destroyed the church, including the frescoes. The architecture itself was rather rustic, not that fancy (Novgorod-style). But the frescoes... they weren't stolen or lost.

Instead, local villagers went to the runes of the church and carried everything they could, in baskets.

After Germans were gone a soon-to-be 85 year long "puzzle solving" game started.
Today a large part of the frescoes is there - assembled from puzzle of little pieces.

Why I am saying it, you know.

Bogorodica Ljevishka is the most vulnerable, let's start with it.

Pec is a question mark, I wasn't in the Patriarchate yet.

Decani is OKAY, most interesting is the Sun-Moon allegory which is "rumored" to be extraterrestrial (it is not, long story, precisely THAT could be Albanian work, but the barbarians may destroy what their ancestor painted).

It is time for the EU and its member states to remove themselves from mediating the Kosovo dialogue. If anything, the EU has only worsened the situation and prevented a compromise solution.

The European contribution to the Kosovo dialogue has been a disaster starting with Martti Ahtisaari and his ridiculous and one-sided Ahtissari Plan that would have essentially stripped Serbia of its southern province. This plan did nothing but inflame tensions.

It has only been in the past several years that some Europeans even accept the possibility of a Kosovo compromise while countries like Germany continue promoting the idea of stripping Serbia’s entire southern province from Serbia in violation of UNSCR 1244 and the Helsinki Accords, as if that is a sustainable solution.

It is time for the Kosovo talks to return to United Nations oversight where there is at least some semblance of neutrality.

After the Lajcak - related news something painful.

"Some circles in Montenegro want the number of Serbs in Montenegro reduced from 28.73 percent to below 15 percent. Our desire is to preserve our people in Montenegro", he emphasized"

But here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montenegrins

“The number of "Montenegrins", "Serbs" and "Bosniaks" fluctuates from census to census, not due to real demographic changes, but due to changes in how people self-identify nationally”

Proper definition in that case would be based on allegiance to regional centers and not about classic ethnics.

This would be similar to the Kiev - Moscow - Minsk division.

Pardon me for indiscretion - but even during their most intimate moments even Kievians (don’t even mention Minsk!) talk Russian to each other.
But when the politics are in question everyone has at least two different opinions.

The Kiev-Moscow division as it is is extremely harmful because instead of Kiev positioning itself as “democratic Russia” it positions itself as “kleptocratic anti-Russia”.

In the first case their case would be very strong from the begin on.
Instead they “advanced” from a nuclear power into Europe’s most poor country.

Same with Podgorica. Instead of PR like “we are alternative to ex-henchmen of Milosevic in Belgrade” they position them self as “we are the henchmen of Milosevic, but we try to kiss your boots”. Maybe appeasing the boots, but one day the boots are gone. Than what?

Lajcak is MGIMO alumni, interesting twist.

Rote / Zh. or who-not may follow up with "apple"-tune, I am tired.

But Lajcak + MGIMO is worth to compose something nice.
Even if he "supposed"(?) to follow Berlin.

No you did not crossed the line it is a DUTY of rep Serbia to do something.
In this case its more messier because Montenegro was one of the six.
