we accidentally crossed paths with these ballot box stuffers.

Similar experience with a twist.

Serbia: was working in BG, one day wake up just to see an anti-American crowd, taking flags of Venezuela and Korea to the U.S. embassy.

I arranged my car to be "looked the other way" downstairs. This was near of "jez", a prime place to park. I think, a U.S. car parking next to "jez" for weeks without parking ticket is an achievement. But the police knew everything.

I am running down to see, is my car in one piece or not anymore.
The political protest did notice the car and waited for the owner.

Once I was downstairs, the bearer of the Korean flag interrogated me: how much was to take that car over Atlanic, who are the best freight forwarders and what dealers are the best to deal with. Reported to him all diligently.

The "Korean" / "Venezuelan" crowd was 100% satisfied, they continued with Milosevic and communist songs towards U.S. embassy.

Bead Serbs.

Other experience was about "Kosova" being "Gyepü" and "Srbija" being burned down (with Croatia and Romania in addition). Not really personal because we were warned and did stay far away from BP. U.S. consulate warned us to do that.

Lucky us - Kosova/Srbija did not became Gyepü, but all the surroundings of the FTC stadium in BP did. The crowd was way to drunk to continue their march in the direction of south. So they destroyed Ferencváros instead.

Hmmm...

Not a significant date for me. Last time there were elections -- or was it the time before? (because I really don't care about political parties) -- a relative invited me to a cafe and we accidentally crossed paths with these ballot box stuffers.
