I have bad news for you, Serbia is already under NATO’s thumb. The way things stand now, Serbia has no benefits from NATO presently, only liabilities. Therefore, wouldn’t it be best to make the best of a bad situation for Serbia and officially join NATO, since now NATO can go anywhere it wants in Serbia, without permission. Serbia has stumbled foolishly into a trap of NATO by agreeing to establish relations with them.
