Is the rejection of Macedonia and Albania actually Macron's revenge?

Some academics, regardless of brilliance, have their heads in the sand. Well Professor the reason they were rejected Northern Macedonia and Albania is very simple. It’s called money.
These are two countries that are of no benefit to the EU just an economic mill stone. So France, Holland and Denmark voted no for that reason.

It seems to me that the West is trying to re draw borders if the former Yugoslav republics before Tito control. Macedonia gained a lot of territory under Tito. Bulgaria, Greece and Albania wants their part back. Once that happens, the only Macedonia left be the Slavic ones who will beg to join Serbia or move there. I don't believe North Macedonia will exist in 10 years. The West views them as irrelevant. All of the former Yugoslav republics never acknowledged them including the autonomous Kosovo at the time.

President Macron was right. And he spoke for other EU countries too.

Well before Croatia's accession France did say it will hold a referendum before approving any new EU member after Croatia.
