The present government of Serbia would be well warned to recognise the 5th October as a day of national pride for those who supported the fundamental rights to democracy in Serbia and the rest of Yugoslavia. The courage and sacrifices of those citizens who stood up to the Milosevic dictatorship should be honoured and never be forgotten. Perhaps Milosevic's Minister of "Information" Vucic and Vucic's puppet prime minister Brnabic are too busy trying to consolidate their power base by monopolising the Serbian media to worry about the significance of this date, but just like Milosevic, the time of their departure in favour of true democrats will come, too.
