Members of the Serbian National Assembly (people's deputies) on Tuesday adopted amendments to the country's Criminal Code.

This change is idiotic,
I understand why some people might think this is a good idea, but it is not, it is a knee jerk reaction by people and has allowed the government to stick in some other law changes too.
There are plenty of laws there already if someone would just use them.

The judiciary in Serbia is slowly losing its independence. At this rate, in 10 years the courts will just be another department of the SNS.
