This is going to be the new norm around the world. People are protesting against the rape of nature and natural resources by the greedy or mindless. We saw a similar protest recently at the Standing Rock reservation in the United States, where many good global citizens stood together against greedy corporations. There are alternatives to the kind of environmental rape envisioned by these corporations. Unfortunately, Kosovo, like much of Europe, is at the mercy of greedy corporations that couldn't give a damn about people, and that includes Albanian citizens. The large corporations and wealthy treat Kosovars as if they were ants on a busy sidewalk. It's only going to get worse unless people stand up against them.
