Mary....the Serbian representitives have a right not to attend anything. Here in the UK we are supposed to have 650 MPs in parliament. But a handful in Northern Ireland stand for elections, get elected but refuse to go to Westminster (parliament). For your information its the members of Sinn Fein (political wing of the IRA).
Care to call them childish..??? This sort of protest happens in a lot more countries than you think, but you seem to only criticise the Serbian politicians....

The mayors of the North Kosova resigned, i.e. they no longer hold their former positions. When someone resigns from a job, it means they no longer wish to hold the job they once held.
