the reaason i dont commented is that i was waiting for average net salary from Romania for january 2019 when public sector got 50% + new big minimum wage + 3 new minimum big wages . As for december 2018 link our statistic office [link] it was net 2957 lei => 635 euro

Will you for f**** sake stop looking at these figures because it is very clear you have no idea what your looking at or how to interpret them. Officially, the US has 3.7% unemployment but even their President does not believe it. The figures provided by Brussels is a calculation using GDPs of all EU members then apportioning them to member sates using a complex formula to give the results you proudly like to sprout.
Unless Romania has the same average monthly wage earnings as in Germany you are living in a poor country while the Government tells you the people are well off.
There is a very old Soviet Union joke about production of shoes; one year they announced 500 million pairs of shoes was made but the people asked if that is so why are we walking around barefoot?

It is truee is not good to grow the economy on consumption but that is the situation , first people to live better and then to grow by building highways and other things , better the gdp to grow than stagnate , i mean better the strategy of Romania than strategy of Serbia . Serbia => no gdp grow , no better living in 2010s

I am all for the truth being published regardless of what picture it paints whether in Serbia or Greenland, but the IMF, WB and CIA are all US institutions and they praise the west. That is my point.
In Australia official unemployment is 5.2%, but its 13.5%. All sites tell you people living there are very well off, but in 2018 large numbers of working families had to go to charities seeking food to feed their families. Wages have not increased for over 6 to 7 years while utilities and groceries have gone through the roof. Look at France, same problem but they are worse off and yet all statistics say everything is wonderful.
Adrian looks at these figures and thinks they are real – sadly they are not.
Kosovo had 4.8% growth rate, but there is no industry or tourism and Government is the biggest employer? They count money the Albanians remit from outside to families in Kosovo as actual income of Kosovo. This is fake growth.
In 20018, Albania had 4.48%, Kosovo 3.2% and Montenegro 5%. Do you see anything wrong here?
Why would people leave Albania when it’s so good? They lost over 1 million in the last 10 years. Montenegro ……LOL. What has Montenegro done to reach 5%? Auction Milo’s underwear?

Sj, even if it must be strange but I must defend Adrian Bucharest in this case. Let’s not talk about Eurostat GDP PPs per capita then. If you have a look at IMF, WB or CIA statistics you can see that as for GDP PPP per capita and even GDP nominal per capita the order shows no significant difference. The order is very similar to the one that Eurostat posts. As for average wages in Romania I think the data that Adrian posted are real. In case of Romania; however, the median would be more interesting because of social gaps. It is not clear if the Romanian ‘consumption led’ economic growth could be maintained or not in the future. As for Serbia. I have a feeling that in real average wages are higher as in case of Serbia we have to talk about unrecorded workforce, too. Probably many people in Serbia get money in pockets without paying taxes. And median would be better in case of Serbia, too as probably a few people earn a lot while the rest earn below the official average.

Once again, the west blowing hot air up people’s backsides.
They have been saying this year in year out, but the real proof is by asking which of these countries is not bleeding people through migration to the EU or other countries in the world? Which of these 4 do not fall in that category?
Its pure BS. How many of the Middle eastern refugees asked for asylum in any of these countries? NOT ONE!!!! They only wanted Germany or Switzerland.
When Poland was asked by Brussels to take some in they refused. Their foreign minister said Poland did not have enough jobs for their own people let alone refugees.
Latvia is the size of Slovenia in population so what does Latvia do to make these magic numbers? Croatia has nearly double of the population and no one will invest there because the returns on investment are small so what chance has Latvia?
Adrian, if you believe in these statistics then there is a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow so why don’t you see if you can get some of it.

My point was only to show that in the late 20th and 21 centuries western governments have adopted a system where everything is wonderful to promote themselves. To a point that is Ok, but they have gone beyond that point where now its mostly outright lies e.g. unemployment figures such as in the US. Even Trump does not believe them.
When I studied at university calculation of GDPs were just that; they were calculating production in a country but today they include money sent to people as income earned by the country from production, which it is clearly not that. Also in my early years an ordinary citizen could pick up a set of Federal budget papers and see just where their taxes were being spent, but today you need to have studied Economics or Finance to under stand what you are looking at.

The western system is falling apart and we are now seeing the rise of Asia. Will they be any better? I don't know. Time will only tell.
