If that was the case why is Brussels still going on with the Chapters since Serbia has said numerous times they will never recognize Kosovo plus they will never join in the sanctions on Russia? A double whammy and still negotiations go on, but keep telling yourself its not going to happen.

Not really. Trade from central Serbia to Kosovo-Metohija amounts to less than 2% of Serbia's economy. Minimal at best. It's already impoverished Albanians that have to deal with higher prices for bread among other agricultural products.

Anyway, it looks like it's the EU and US who is in a major rush to solve this issue. Not sure why it's in Serbia's interest. This should be dragged out. On one hand, they throw out phrases like "except the realities on the ground" and yet the reality is, only Serbia can make this stillborn project a country. Because if this weren't the case, Serbia's opinion would not be relevant.

I don't think Serbian products can return to the shelves of Kosovo. Their places were taken by Macedonian, Bulgarian, Albanian and Greek products. It would be very hard to push them out again. Time is on the newcomers' side, and every day they have stronger and stronger positions in Kosovo. A temporary suspension of the tax would not solve anything, because business doesn't like changing partners in every three months.

BE, from all the evidence that I can see (newspapers, opinion polls, comments of forums, etc) it appears that the majority of Serbs do not wish to be part of the EU. And Mr Vucic has said that if the day ever comes and Serbia is invited he will put it to the people in a referendum. I'm sure that it will be a resounding no to the EU. Switzerland & Norway are not in the EU either. And here in Britain people voted out. So its not the be all and end all you think it is.

The fact of the matter is the tariffs imposed on Serbia by The Republic of Kosova have crippled Serbia. Why else are the Serbs squealing like stuck pigs. Serbia is desperate to join the EU since without EU membership, Serbia will never prosper. However, the is one critical impediment, and that is without recognizing Kosova, Serbia has no future.

Serbia does not need to adopt reciprocal measures against Kosovo for the breaking of CEFTA agreements. Bosnian and Serbian products are being shipped to Kosovo via "Macedonia", Montenegro and yes even Albania. Kosovo is stuck with higher prices in the market place. Haridinaj is not too smart in the brains departments, Economics 101 evades him. But as I mentioned countless of times, selling Fez hats may open up a brand mew market for Albanian Turks.

In the meantime the US continues to place it's own sanctions against Kosovo and it will only continue to worsen for Haridanaj and is merry band of KLA terrorists.

How can this woman expect to get a “ legally binding agreement “ between two parties when Serbia refuses to acknowledge,recognize and honor the agreement with her victim Kosova ?
