Serbia’s problem is she doesn’t respect :

International borders

You can have the values without the membership. My advice is take the values but don’t join,

The reality is that joining the EU gives freedom of movement, so many bright, hard-working young people will leave Serbia and move to Germany (or the UK if it’s exit from the EU is sabotaged). For that reason a lot of people will be happy to join the EU. The politicians will also be happy to lose the middle class (as happened under Milosevic) because the rest are easier to manipulate.

The EU should be about money - developing the economies of the lesser nations - but mainly it is a way of sucking cheap labour into the richer countries.

She forgot to mention that their people don't have freedom of speech and God forbid they spoke against the government...

Any Federation where the other party has no representation but obediently pays taxes to built Serbia at your expense ...

Trading with former members of Yugoslavia especially the ones that were victims of Greater Serbia.

Serbia demands open markets and conviently chooses to ignore war restitution.

Serb self interest is what really matters to selfish delusional creatures in Belgrade war crimes capital of the world.
