You should actually be more aware of what is going on after the "tax" on Serbian Goods. All international trade from Serbia has been diverted to the Republic of Macedonia which is then going back into Kosovo. Further, this results in higher raw material prices for all Kosovo citizens concerned reducing comparative advantage. Do you think Serbia and Kosovo were trading for the fun of it? Of course Serbia is losing trade dollars, but Kosovo is losing far more with higher raw material prices , stagnating wages and decreasing investment. Kosovo economy is a non factor, the only economy is cheap Albanian labour to support Camp Bondsteel at $1.00 per hour.

The purpose of this gathering was not to pass any resolutions but to tell the UN what is going on in Kosovo. The US, and hangers on, were vehemently against discussion at the UNSC and also against the open media hearing. They wanted a closed discussion with no media. That failed and the media were allowed in.
This has done more damage to Kosovo’s administration and their benefactors than you can imagine.
Sideline discussions are just as effective as open debate; in fact more gets resolved by these chats. You don’t understand it because you have never seen it so it’s difficult to explain to someone like you just how effective talks on the sidelines are.

The albanians and some supporters think that Kos is a country and half the world consider Kos as a province to Serbia with nothing changed. I know that smart albanians and most of the supporters have realized by now that Serbia will never ever give up, be it Eu membership or not.

My dear Albanian friends, the UN is not just the meetings that are scheduled but much talk after. It was suffice for Vucic to force the hand of US, UK etc to openly show no proof other them their "political" rather than legal arguments. That was all needed and he achieved it.

I think the best idea would be to start all over with a big UN mission in your province. When one think about it, the positions are as locked as 15 years ago. The albanians and some supporters think that Kos is a country and half the world consider Kos as a province to Serbia with nothing changed. This will drag on forever and Kos will not have UN status or other.
I know that smart albanians and most of the supporters have realized by now that Serbia will never ever give up, be it Eu membership or not.
The last couple of years, Serbia has really ”Had wind in their sails”. Just look at the confirmed revocations, the halt in recognitions, the Unesco, the Interpol, the statements from two of the most powerful three countries, the quarterly meetings at UN, Special Chambers etc etc.

The purpose of this gathering was not to pass any resolutions but to tell the UN what is going on in Kosovo. The US, and hangers on, were vehemently against discussion at the UNSC and also against the open media hearing. They wanted a closed discussion with no media. That failed and the media were allowed in.
This has done more damage to Kosovo’s administration and their benefactors than you can imagine.
Sideline discussions are just as effective as open debate; in fact more gets resolved by these chats. You don’t understand it because you have never seen it so it’s difficult to explain to someone like you just how effective talks on the sidelines are.

These tariffs cause Serbia to complete lose the half a billion Kosovo market. There's no taxes on Kosovo citizens you fool, only on those that want to buy from Serbia. The rest are buying everything from Albania and others. Serbian companies have permanently lost the Kosovo market, the routes with Albania and Macedonia are being strengthened even more and there's no going back.
Keep dreaming. Without Kosovo's approval this can't happen. By the way taxes can go up again 😉

You should actually be more aware of what is going on after the "tax" on Serbian Goods. All international trade from Serbia has been diverted to the Republic of Macedonia which is then going back into Kosovo. Further, this results in higher raw material prices for all Kosovo citizens concerned reducing comparative advantage. Do you think Serbia and Kosovo were trading for the fun of it? Of course Serbia is losing trade dollars, but Kosovo is losing far more with higher raw material prices , stagnating wages and decreasing investment. Kosovo economy is a non factor, the only economy is cheap Albanian labour to support Camp Bondsteel at $1.00 per hour.
