Even if true (and is not) - whining and filling the jails and cathouses all over Eurasia and America does not work out well.
Here is an idea for a just revenge.
Build roads, railroads. Make sure your freeway through Pristina is cheaper to transit than the Serbian one through Nis.
Start the Pristina - Budapest - Vienna train service with much better rolling stock than what Serbs have.
At first, rent some rolling stock from Slovaks or Austria, than build your own.

The only people repressing your culture, academics and economy is yourselves. Albania has existed since the beginning of the last century and nothing much has come out of that country so you guys blame others for your backwardness. Serbs did not instil blood revenge in your society that is still to this day practised; Serbs did not put a gun to your heads and force you to crime throughout Europe.
Being small producer is fine but this is not the 12 century. You cannot survive just growing on small scales since you need electricity, medicines which you do not produce but buy from Serbia.
If you choose not to buy Serbian goods, I am fine with that stance since it’s your prerogative to do so, but Serbs in Kosovo do want to buy them and your administration is trying to stop them. As I have said please buy your goods elsewhere, Turkey, Macedonia or the EU. No one is stopping your supermarkets from acquiring these goods from somewhere else.

Kosovo Albanians are small producers but with big ambitions for the future. Most Kosovo Albanians are happy to be non-consumers of Serbian goods because of the continuing aggression, discrimination of the Serbian government expressed at all level of society. Croatia just overpaid for some junk used airplanes from Israel, can't afford the Gripen. As for Bosnia, feel sorry for Komsic who is still stuck with the Muslim fundamentalists. Imagine that, Muslim ISIS fanatics and so called Christian Croats working in tandem in Bosnia.
Foodstuffs are not the only product that is "exported" to Kosovo. Raw materials such as steel comes directly from Serbia. Regardless of the products, the reason that trade exists between Serbia and Kosovo is comparative advantage for both parties. When that is broken, you are stuck with higher prices unless you force wage and price controls. As well, there are supply chains that will take year's to replace. Hardinaj is forcing businesses to pay higher prices for raw materials in exchange for political "gains" which will be passed on to the consumer. CEFTA is not going to just sit and watch an impoverished country break economic agreements. Economic terrorism has no place in Europe.

Thank you for your comments. May I clarify that I did not mention the word economic powerhouse in my comment nor did I intend to imply that. We both agree that it’s not. But you on the other hand are making it look like the entire food supply of Kosovo comes solely from Serbia. That is also not the case also. That was what I was trying to point out to you.
I don’t want to brag, but Kosovo can and is getting/buying food from other neighbours: Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Turkey etc. For example, as we talked about biscuits earlier, you can buy Italian biscuits in Kosovo, no problem.
Kosovo has built a highway with Albania so the goods between these two countries pass freely as well as now Kosovo having a trading port in the port of Durres Albania. Albania is used as a country from which some Greek, Italian products get imported into Kosovo.

The tariffs are only a part of a suite of actions instigated by Pristina at the behest of the US. Pristina would not dare lift its head if not supported by the US. It’s the US that wants to start a conflict in Kosovo so, in their small minds, it can finalise Kosovo. Once it commenced the US would call in NATO to “quell” the problem and in that action take over Serb areas thus once and for all controlling Kosovo. However, Americans are stupid. My grandmother could outwit them.
Belgrade could not care less if the price difference goes to “Kosovo costums” since it your Albanians that pay the higher price.
There will be no peace in the Balkans until Serbs get back what is theirs whether in Kosovo or Croatia. The US idiots still don’t get that one, but they will.

Belgrade does not put its hand in its pocket to pay for the increase. They still sell it for the same price, but its you the consumer in Kosovo that pays the higher price. I don’t want to brag, but Kosovo can and is getting/buying food from other neighbours: Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Turkey etc. For example, as we talked about biscuits earlier, you can buy Italian biscuits in Kosovo, no problem.
Kosovo has built a highway with Albania so the goods between these two countries pass freely as well as now Kosovo having a trading port in the port of Durres Albania. Albania is used as a country from which some Greek, Italian products get imported into Kosovo.
If, as you point out all food stuffs vast majority are from Serbia, then this is because Kosovo is your closest trading partner and the goods passing over did not pay any tax. Also partly because Serbian products tend to be competitively priced for the Kosovo market.

Kosovo has nothing to trade with. Its a consumer. If it was not for relatives sending money back to Kosovo Albanians there would starve.
I am more than happy for Kosovo to buy all its stuff from the EU, Albania or Turkey; more than happy so I also suggest that they raise tariffs to 500%.

We’ve been repressed culturally, academically and economically for centuries, so I believe we’re trying to find our way slowly. Without trying to incite hate because that leads to nowhere. Here is an idea for a just revenge.
Build roads, railroads. Make sure your freeway through Pristina is cheaper to transit than the Serbian one through Nis.
Start the Pristina - Budapest - Vienna train service with much better rolling stock than what Serbs have.
At first, rent some rolling stock from Slovaks or Austria, than build your own.
Foodstuffs are not the only product that is "exported" to Kosovo. Raw materials such as steel comes directly from Serbia. Regardless of the products, the reason that trade exists between Serbia and Kosovo is comparative advantage for both parties. When that is broken, you are stuck with higher prices unless you force wage and price controls. As well, there are supply chains that will take year's to replace. Hardinaj is forcing businesses to pay higher prices for raw materials in exchange for political "gains" which will be passed on to the consumer. CEFTA is not going to just sit and watch an impoverished country break economic agreements. Economic terrorism has no place in Europe.
Haridinaj laments Albanians are cooperating, but according to their "constitution" , ZSO cannot be passed, but an army can be passed in direct violation of their "constitution" which requires Serbian MP consent. What a banana republic. The Albanian constitution reads we the KLA terrorists for the terrorists.

As I have said please buy your goods elsewhere, Turkey, Macedonia or the EU. No one is stopping your supermarkets from acquiring these goods from somewhere else.

When a tariff is imposed a product, say a packet of biscuits, that was sold in the supermarket in Pristina prior to the tariff being imposed, cost $1 but after the tariff its $2. Belgrade does not put its hand in its pocket to pay for the increase. They still sell it for the same price, but its you the consumer in Kosovo that pays the higher price.
