In 1998 Albanians had international sympathy and support from years of passive resistance against Milosevic. 20 years later in 2018, you're now an international pariah with no support for an"army", no support for levied taxes, and have squandered any good will you had with the EU by blaming all your troubles on other people.

And to add to the farce, the vote for an "army" was unanimous without any dissenters (not including Serbs who boycotted the vote)? That's the stuff that happens in authoritarian regimes.

It can be 150 years old and it will not reach that point. You people are dreaming about an army so powerful it could take on anyone and everyone, but it not happening. It cost money and you people in Kosova are barely surviving to the point if relatives working in the EU did not send back money you would starve.

Unemployment in Kosovo is extremely high and people are leaving at every opportunity. There is no work there. A few rusting Humvees does not make an army. You need short and long range artillery; missiles systems, tanks armored vehicles, radar systems etc. An army produces nothing; its an expense. No money!!!!!!!!
