You're going to call me old fashioned but I still favor a horse, preferably a standard bred crossed with a Dutch Harness.
(JS, 9 December 2018 22:44)

Not at all - but horse is a living creature and requires a much different care than a car.

I can just leave that thing with four wheels outside for a week without any care. Horses won't tolerate that kind of harsh treatment.

The best people IMO are the mid-west American villagers, Bavarians and Russians (in random order). Hungarian villagers are quite close.

If you ask them for help, they may even offer you to stay with them for free and couch you until your mental / family problems aren't over.

Sorry, have no experience with Australians, Serbs or Albanians regarding that matter. My guess is that they are similar. My experience is limited to what I said." (Ataman, 9 December 2018 00:25)

My experience with Serb villagers is that they can be quite friendly. It isn't unheard-of to get a bed to sleep the night, even for a complete stranger. The older people in my village say that all families used to have a devoted guest room in every house. A stranger could expect to sleep in almost any house they wished and would also be fed without charge. It was really practical before the age of motor vehicles.

"Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic once again asked his Kazakh and Russian counterparts for permission to export free of customs duties Fiat 500L cars produced in Serbia to their countries - something that Serbia has been trying to achieve for years."

The original non-stretched Fiat 500L is unfit for either American and Russian market.

The longer, face-lifted 500L Wagon with 6-speed automatic is barely OK.

https://www.edmunds.com/fiat/500l/2019

But the price of that is unacceptable. Currently there is $1500 + $500 iniciative, so you looking towards spending about $20K.

If you look at a much better car

https://www.edmunds.com/toyota/prius-v/2017/wagon

you can push the price down to ca. $24K

Than you have this:

https://www.edmunds.com/toyota/rav4-hybrid/2018

or this:

https://www.edmunds.com/kia/niro/2019

Apologies, not even 500L Wagon will cut it.

Azir, you maybe should use different way to express yourself.
You may get a host of Serb and Russian supporters here.

If you have real problems with Slavs in your past, say it openly and ask people to overcome these. You will be very surprised.

Just don't abuse that "service" in vain, it is reserved for extreme situations only.

Sorry, have no experience with Australians, Serbs or Albanians regarding that matter. My guess is that they are similar. My experience is limited to what I said.

Regarding this rant: the problem with "refugees" is exactly that - the abuse. This is a different story, but I have to mention it.

It is not true that Bavarians or Russians would "hate" refugees. Just when it comes to really ugly things, villagers are villagers and they will be upset and refusing obvious crooks. (Hello Mamma Merkel!)

Instead of what you’re fantasizing, Russia and the rest of Eurasian dictatorships will rip you off, the way Russia cheated you for the oil refinery in Nis. They suck you in, then start gradually with trade tariffs till Serbia finds itself in a No Win situation. When is Serbia ever going to learn there is no such thing as a free lunch!
(The Count of KOSOVA, 8 December 2018 07:48)

Welcome back Count, been a while... however, an Albanian talking about someone else getting a free lunch is a little rich, don't you think so!!! Listen bud, you people received a free lunch the last 70 years when you were part of Yugoslavia, but you done screwed it up by trying to break away. Now you don't know where you next meal is coming from - actually pretty sad. Welcome back...

Serbia wanted EAEU membership for many years finally Putin decided to open the door for Serbia EU also granted Serbia CFSP Accession. This is clearly done because of the current Albanian provocation over Kosovo which Serbia threaten military intervention which would caused deep division in NATO and the EU that is the last thing they need another war with Serbia. If war starts with Serbia the EU community will take side and so will NATO members. So they decided to award serbia with economic trade instead.

the EU asked Putin to include Serbia in EAEU EU thinks by helping Serbia economically Serbia won't Intervene with their military in Kosovo and start another war with NATO, War with Serbia would be the worst thing for NATO right now and for the EU. EAEU is an distraction for Serbia. The EU is in a big mess and in political turmoil the last thing they need is war which could divide EU countries and they could take sides. so they asked Putin to open the door for Serbia to join EAEU. which Serbia wanted long time ago.

That's it Russia, hit them where it hurst - $$$.
(Chi, 7 December 2018 16:43)

That's the way it should work.

Instead what Belgrade does do?

One day they talk about peace.
Next day they talk about Serbian Army.
The third day they petition NATO, US and Germany.
The fourth day they beg China and Russia.

My impression is that they are a bunch of mafiosi who have no ideas, no backbone and stuck somewhere in 1800.

That's it Russia, hit them where it hurst - $$$. It's nice to see that countries will have options and not be held hostage by the US/West. They're losing economic influence slowly, and have already lost the respect of many countries in the world today. You can't bully and strong-arm countries without some repercussions - no matter how small or big. And, NATO might be the weakest it's ever been since it was formed. The Eurasian Alliance is starting to come into its own, and this will have some interesting consequences going forward. Stay tuned....
