Fact #24: Venerated is fancy way of saying “respect”.
Many people venerate Mother Theresa, that does not mean they “worship” her, unless of course you are a delusional KLA accomplice named JS."
(Zhukov, 23 November 2018 19:37)

There are gradations depending on the "saint" and their location in the hierarchy.
(JS, 23 November 2018 22:11)

Can you please list the top ten? And tell us which number in the hierarchy has been assigned to Mother Theresa? And who assigned this location? You appear to be more a follower of Sufism, rather than Christianity.

Kissing the image of Mary, for example. Praying to her. Is that only respect, or is that properly called worship?
(JS, 23 November 2018 22:11)

Your question reveals more about you than the people who may kiss the image of Mary.
In contrast to the evil JS, I don’t judge people, or the faith in their God, based on their rituals.
I kiss a picture of my children ever night before I go to bed: does that mean I do not believe in one God or that I am practicing a form “idolatry”. Apparently the bigoted and evil JS thinks so.
Has your ideological association with the KLA warped you so much you can’t understand that different people express themselves differently to their God, their Saints, their children, their loved ones?

When I respect people, I don't normally kiss their feet or pray to them...
(JS, 23 November 2018 22:11)

I remember kissing my children’s feet when they were neonates and infants. I’m sure many other parents did/do so. We can understand this is foreign to JS and his satanic KLA brethren.

Which specific “ethnic Serb” do JS and JS’ ideological accomplices, the KLA, want to target now?"
(Zhukov, 23 November 2018 19:37)

You have a special knack for turning things around. But when it comes to numbers you are struggling with keeping them sequential. But it's ok, no need to stress out. Polako, samo polako.
(JS, 23 November 2018 22:11)

My only “knack” was to expose the bigotry and evil of JS.
Stress?
Not.
I’m in total bliss.
I don’t expect JS, and his criminal KLA accomplices, who foolishly claim there is a numerical ordering of Saints, to be able to count anything.

"Fact 21: In an endless rant, JS paganizes a well known Christian saint whose icons the KLA burned and desecrated in KiM."

But scripture says:

"So Samuel said to all the Israelites, “If you are returning to the Lord with all your hearts, then rid yourselves of the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths and commit yourselves to the Lord and serve him only, and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.” So the Israelites put away their Baals and Ashtoreths, and served the Lord only." Santa Claus is the double paganization perpetrated by secular Western culture on an already-paganized tradition.
(JS, 22 November 2018 13:00)

Santa Claus where?

The original problem with Santa on Dec. 25 was evaded, let's back to it.

Let me streamline the question to JS:

1) when does Santa "visit" children in Serbia (+Russia), Croatia, Austria and Hungary?

2) a difficult one: in what region of Serbia Santa visits the children TWICE during the season?

Of course, there is no Santa on Dec 25, neither on Jan. 7. All what was told about Christmas, Jesus and Santa is (at least in all above countries) moot.

Historically and theologically speaking, Santa Claus is a paganization of Christian Christmas.
(JS, 21 November 2018 16:06)

To the delusional and bigoted KLA apologists, like JS, we are not surprised to read such ignorant comments. Santa Claus is recognized as Saint Nicholas by many Christians. That JS claims Saint Nicholas is ungodly, or “pagan”, reflects JS’ severe deficiencies in Christian tradition and beliefs." (Zhukov, 22 November 2018 02:32)

Saint Nicholas is mentioned nowhere in Holy Scripture, and is not so much as hinted at. Nor do we read about him in the church fathers. The three magi, by contrast, came from the East. What was once the glorification of Christ by wise men from the East has turned into the glorification of a human being ("saint") by "Christians" who yielded sole obedience to Christ and tried to obey both Christ and the Roman state which, of course, was an utter failure.

Now that Western culture has taken hold of the Saint Nicholas tradition and mixed it with other traditions, it has turned into a self-referential buying of gifts to spoil already selfish and disobedient children.

In summary, Saint Nicholas is the paganization of faith in Christ, and Santa Claus is the double paganization perpetrated by secular Western culture on an already-paganized tradition.

JS

pre 5 godina

"JS should realize that Christmas is about giving, and the symbols of Saint Nic represent the spirt of giving, particularly to innocent children, wherein the innocence and purity of our Lord Jesus Christ shines brightest."

Saint Nicholas was a fallible human being. Jesus, not "Saint Nic," gave us his life so that we could be ransomed from the power of the devil. This abstract "spirit of giving" is nowhere taught in Scripture, and certainly not one started in reverence to a human being. As your above-cited comment shows, there is no connection between Jesus and your traditions of Nicholas and "the spirit of giving." They are human innovations not divinely given celebrations.

"The warped words from JS expose the empty moral soul of a KLA apologist. During this time of year, we should all pray that the dark evil in JS’ soul is one day replaced with the gift and bright love represented by Saint Nic, and our Lord.

There is no single symbolic definition for these respective items. There are various interpretations.
Sadly, JS idiotically associates believers as people who “worship themselves or a man wearing a red suit and driving reindeer”; JS clearly has his own warped interpretation of Christians and Christmas traditions.

Your answers were 100% of course.
This forum has more trolls, than real users. It is not clear, who is who.

Under such circumstances one needs to be careful with any argument.

1) If the opponent of the debate is a honest character: by all means, debate and expose the opponent. Anyone, even members of KLA or SS have right to express their views.

However, the old joke is still valid (just replace "Germans" and "nazis" with whomever does fit the argument):

"Germans are the best, because they are intelligent, honest and nazis.
Unfortunately, it never happens the same time"

2) If he is an artificial character, created by someone on purpose, just to tease you: all the reasoning is in vain.
you just feed the troll. You are the fish. You better to assume: every counter-argument is just as a hook, designed to hurt you.

Luckily: "What kills a skunk is the publicity it gives itself" (Abraham Lincoln). Look for a poorly designed hook.

3) I think, the best argument is like the strongest chili. If you do it right, it looks innocent at first.
But the more you think about it, the least innocent it is.

Like an other joke - which is actually the most horrible curse I ever heard:

"Я желаю, что-бы ты имел самый дорогой айфон.
И что-бы ты постоянно набирал: 01, 02, 03 и 04"

Take care!

"On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh." (Mt 2:11)

And on what day in most Western world?

b) The children in Albania and Chechnya are not left behind. When that "Santa" comes to them, why he is not "Santa" and what's the difference in his dress?

c) In a large part of this world Santa has nothing to do with Christmas.
His role is taken by… (Most difficult question because there are TWO options, not one).

Our US born Serb who owns several farms in southern Serbia seems very protective of the US. I suppose its desire to quell Serbian nationalism makes it swing towards America.
I have yet to see it raise an issue with the other side. The question is does JS live in Serbia while working at the US embassy and is a paid US troll or is it contacting the outside world from a basement in the US in-between making millions working several jobs. One thing is for sure it certainly is a fake Serb.
I suggest you do some light reading about capabilities of US military and its place in the military technology stakes where China and Russia are concerned. The US is stuffed; a recent report from the Rand Corp said the US has fallen behind in areas where it once led. The cure? Spend more money. Gee it already spends 25 times more than its allies and its producing crap like the F35, but more money will cure all ills LOL.

Oh, no! That's the SECOND mistake. Sorry, things do not look good, but here are some difficult puzzles.

a) On what day the kids in Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Macedonia, Ukraine, Georgia expecting Santa?
And on what day in Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, Austria, Poland?
And on what day in most Western world?

b) The children in Albania and Chechnya are not left behind. When that "Santa" comes to them, why he is not "Santa" and what's the difference in his dress?

c) In a large part of this world Santa has nothing to do with Christmas.
His role is taken by… (Most difficult question because there are TWO options, not one).

Apologies, but only an ignorant American (Japanese, Chinese, Canadian) would associate December 25 with Santa.

That JS claims Saint Nicholas is ungodly, or “pagan”, reflects JS’ severe deficiencies in Christian tradition and beliefs.

They came to worship him, not worship themselves or a man wearing a red jacket and driving reindeer.
(JS, 21 November 2018 16:06)

JS clearly does not understand Christianity, the broad “spirit of Christmas”, and how most Christians view Saint Nicholas, or Santa Claus.
JS ignorantly implies that Christians “worship themselves or a man wearing a red suit and driving reindeer”.
JS should realize that Christmas is about giving, and the symbols of Saint Nic represent the spirt of giving, particularly to innocent children, wherein the innocence and purity of our Lord Jesus Christ shines brightest.
The warped words from JS expose the empty moral soul of a KLA apologist. During this time of year, we should all pray that the dark evil in JS’ soul is one day replaced with the gift and bright love represented by Saint Nic, and our Lord.

Fact 21: In an endless rant, JS paganizes a well known Christian saint whose icons the KLA burned and desecrated in KiM.

I don't see anything there about Santa Claus. That was the question. Historically and theologically speaking, Santa Claus is a paganization of Christian Christmas.

"After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea...Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” (Mt 2:1-2)

They came to worship him, not worship themselves or a man wearing a red jacket and driving reindeer.

"On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh." (Mt 2:11)

They gave him gold, frankincense and myrrh not Legos, Barbie Dolls, and earrings. Do you know what the symbolism is of gold, frankincense, and myrrh?

Take care!

Yeah, Santa comes to Serbia a few weeks later than in the States, Bulgaria, and Romania. I guess they need a break after delivering gifts to all the brats in America. ;)

O,my! The US "embassy" in Kosovo wasn't so hugely disappointed a decade ago when the "Kosovar" (sic) mob was burning 200+ churches and monasteries in Kosovo and expelling and killing everyone who dared speak Serbian.

And I don't remember State Department shedding any crocodile tears when the living Serbs were carved up like animals and their body parts sold for cold hard cash to the rich New Yorkers.

(JS, 21 November 2018 16:06)

To the delusional and bigoted KLA apologists, like JS, we are not surprised to read such ignorant comments. Santa Claus is recognized as Saint Nicholas by many Christians.

Forgive him Father, JS does not know what he is writing.

Sadly, JS idiotically associates believers as people who “worship themselves or a man wearing a red suit and driving reindeer”; JS clearly has his own warped interpretation of Christians and Christmas traditions.
Frankly, we’ve read enough of JS’ perversions of Christians and Christmas, that we kindly ask him to stop insulting us and our faith.

Take care!

This abstract "spirit of giving" is nowhere taught in Scripture, and certainly not one started in reverence to a human being.
