I think the real fear is if movement was liberalised there would be no one left in Kosovo. How could they then keep on tell everyone they freed Kosovo only to have the Albanians abandon it.

What is a concern for me is that the EU would not hold up it's promise, regardless if it's to "kosova" or not.
If the EU set guidelines for Visa liberation and the "Kosovars" followed it, then the moral obligation is for the EU to honor their commitment.
This "game" is also played against Serbia with EU entry criteria..thats why I love the way Srbija gets around that one..."improve our economy with or without EU membership, Frienda and trade with all, enemies with none"!!

I hope the "Kosovars" finally understand that their only hope for anything is thru dialog with Beograd, not Brussels.
The clock is ticking...against pristina! not because of Srbija, but because of their masters, the west.

"There is a fear that inhabitants of Kosovo, above all young people, would swamp EU countries if visa liberalization is approved. Unemployment in Kosovo is at a troubling level, while young people, mostly ethnic Albanians, look for every opportunity to find a job abroad."

Looks like Germany, France and the Netherlands are friends of the Albanians until those same Albanians want to flood their countries looking for a better standard of living. The Albanians are beginning to see what the civilized world thinks of them. The message from the European countries is unanimously "keep them caged inside Kosovo." Any clever comments Avni, Albanopolis, Rocky, et al????????

The residents of Serbia’s fenced-in ghetto, who don’t have Serbian passports, are discriminated against. Even the criminal gang leaders in the ghetto are turning on their frorign sponsors, now calling the them racists and Albanophobes. Yes, the reasoning behind Brussels’ occupation and ghettoization of KiM is plainly evident: cage-in the residents and keep them out of the EU.

Now I know why these countries wanted an independent Kosovo. Visa liberation for Serbia, visa isolation for Kosovo. We all know who the bad guys are in all of this.
