sj, even worse, the most sophisticated jet the US has, F35 Stealth, doesn't have a chance against a MIG 29. And, this comparison comes from the US, and not an outside source. Look it up my little Albo Keyboard warriors - google MG versus F35 and see for yourselves. I'll take any MIGS, old or new, just a matter of updating avionics and guidance systems.

The F35s are a joke. Over $500 billion has been spent on this flying scrap heap and it cannot fly when there is a thunderstorm. Canada withdrew from the program while silly Australia is still paying. Late last year one of those was delivered for a PR exercise and our government TV, the ABC news covered our then Prime Minister who stood beaming in front of this jet BSing about its abilities. When the news item was finished the reader said with a straight face that the F35 could not fly because it was raining.
