There are several solutions.
1st stay officially together join EU and then still a seperation is possible, plus people could move and work freely after a secession.
2nd split Kosovo, north to serbia, presevo if they want to kosovo.
3rd keep the status and work on reducing hate and fear of the other side. Instead of provocating politics, it would be better to bring the children together. Student exchange, weeks in the nature anything that helps to reduce hate and fear.
4th time machine and put the political leaders and their entourage from the 90s to Goli Otok in 1985.
In general it is a shame for the region that the warlords, propaganda guys, politicians from the 90s and their political inheritance are still at power in the republics of former yugoslavia.
People like thaci and vucic should be in prisons and not be politicians. They brought far too much suffering to the people in the past.

I'm not 'Tito reloaded' and I'm not a socialist but I agree with many of his points. At the base of it all, I think we would say it doesn't matter how the borders are drawn, it doesn't matter whether Kosovo is inside or outside Serbia. After all, ethnicities are created over time and could be drawn and named very differently. When people fight over such things, they are being senseless.
