This is a good news, bad news situation... Good news for Serbs, bad news for albanians :)

The so called "Presevo valley" is 100% Serbian.
To give a part of southern Serbia to albanian terrorists is a reward for their crimes!
Partition of Kosovo is acceptable, but to exchange one part of your territory for another is just nonsense....unless albania is willing to exchange northern epirus?

If this is true, both the "red lines" and "blank checks" policy is directly aimed at the Albanians. US policy has never been this less pro-Albanian in my lifetime. IF now is the best time for a long-term solution for Kosovo-Metohija, the Serbian gov't MUST demand more than the north in exchange for UN seat.

Serbia has to demand for Serbian zones in the south (Strpce, Gracanica, eastern Kosovo, Gora/Dragas) become segregated and allowed to remain apart of Serbia. Likewise, the monasteries of Pec, Decani & Prizren must receive extra-territorial Vatican status. This would allow for Serbian Christian civilization to survive in Kosovo-Metohija where its roots are!!!

In return for this minimum, Serbia should allow UN seat and maybe even control of Presevo Valley. Anything less will be Serbian capitulation. We all know that Albanians need recognition from Serbia and UN seat more than Serbia needs a lasting solution.
