Drawing new borders not necessary

I know I have asked this question before but still don’t understand why Kosovo can’t just be an autonomous region within Serbia, where local Albanian minority can still run local institutions (police, health, roads) in local areas were they make up the majority, while Belgrade administers the boarders and state affairs.

I can’t accept the argument that its because of ‘the 1999 conflict’ and that Serbia can’t be trusted to administer Kosovo anymore, if that was the case then why is BiH still together? BiH conflict was even more brutal with higher causalities then the 99 KiM scuffle, yet citizens of BiH are still obligated to live together in one state.

European Borders were set in stone following the end of WW2 for good reason, the Kosovo precedent has already been used by Russia to justify their annexation of Crimea. Imagine a scenario were Hungry decides that Transylvania (in Romania) should join ‘natural Hungary’ or Turkey decides that all turks in Bulgaria & Greece should be part of ‘Historical Turkey’, or Italy decided that the east Adriatic coast line (including Vlore in Albania) belong to ‘natural risorgimento Italy’. And then there is Greece’s ‘Megali Idea’ which proposes all of Southern Albania belong to Greece. I’m sure all this talk about boarder modifications will end well for Europe.

It can’t be autonomous province of Serbia for the same reason that hot girl doesn’t want to be your girlfriend, “she was never attracted to you”. You never had a chance with her, and you decided to force her to like you and abuse her. Leave the girl alone, she will respect you for that, but her heart wants what it wants, and it wants Alban-ia.

To put it mildly, the matter of fact is that neither Taci nor our government should be allowed to negotiate exchange, delineation or whatever without a prior consent of Serbs or Albanians.
The consent for this negotiation they should get from people who they represent first and foremost, that means from Serbs and Albanians, not from Austria. This means that they should first have referendum and then proceed with talks if Serbs and Albanians approve it, not vice versa.
Neither Vucic nor Taci were elected based on delineation or territory exchange, which means that, at this point, they are representing just themselves.

If they like to be an autonomous regin and a seperate country then why is everything happening in albania? they dont even refer to themselves als kosovarians but albanians....well i guess the gras is greener on the other side but if it would happen that they become independent then let me tell you one thing: within a year they will al try to move to england or germany as they money from belgrade will stop coming in

I agree. He has been around B92 forever and other sites always anti Serb comments. I know who he is (not Albanian BTW) and his history. Father was displaced from Krajina during WWII. If wasn't so strange would be funny.
