Rather than attempting to buy up property in Kosovo from Serbs who would rather live in Serbia, why not take advantage of a chance to move people to the towns and villages in Serbia that are disappearing as their populations die out or move out? The Serbian government started from its first days of independence from Turkey to prevent Serbs living in Kosovo from moving north to live among their own people in freedom. Maybe it's time to pay attention to what the people want rather than what politicians want, that is, to use them to occupy land to give the government a claim to it for the state.
