Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has expressed his deepest condolences in a message to Greece's president and prime minister.

Greece was the only country to come to Serbia's aid when it truly counted. It had the capacity and it gave help when Serbs needed it most. I hope Serbia has the resources to return this favour when its most needed. Its would be only a small gesture since the debt to Greece is huge.
May I extend my deepest condolences to people who have lost family and friends to this tragedy. I live in a country where fires can be devastating.
