Russia didn't win anything in Syria. If it couldn't prevent Assad's chem depots from being destroyed, it can't prevent Assad from losing power if the West wants to focus on it. For now it' not worth it. The part that was worth it was punishing chemical attacks as a matter of principle, and it did happen. Russia didn't win anything in Syria. If it couldn't prevent Assad's chem depots from being destroyed, it can't prevent Assad from losing power if the West wants to focus on it. For now it' not worth it. The part that was worth it was punishing chemical attacks as a matter of principle, and it did happen. Also on demographics, worry about the vodka effects, because refugees don't put a demography in the minus like oligarchy does.

You attributed the real growth in Russia’s population to the number of people in Crimea, when you don’t even understand the concept of numbers, how many people live in Crimea, and the fact that Russia’s population growth exceeds the poulation of Crimea.
Further, I didn’t “add” Crimea. The residents of Crimea voted overwhelmingly to join Russia and escape the criminal junta installed by the USA in Kiev. Other freedom fighters in Ukraine are still struggling to free themselves from these Bandera worshipping neo-Nazis.

Growth rates in populations do not follow a constant slope. Generally, a shallow slope precedes the log-phase growth segment. We can sympathize that these terms are beyond the comprehension of you and icj1 who think that an increase in Russian population represents a “decline”, or according to your newest mathematical term “blah”.
