According to an opposition member of the Kosovo Assembly, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has called for "removal" of "red lines with Serbia."

still the only area in Europe that is not part of Schengen and still need visas in order to enter EU...I wonder why is that??

That is because the EU is doing Kosovo a favour since, according to the most patriotic of Serbs, the EU is the hell on earth.

Oh yeah....Kosovo...It is a “beacon” of democracy and civilized world...Kosovo is a non-state and the biggest fraud in modern history...Ruled by thugs and criminals and still the only area in Europe that is not part of Schengen and still need visas in order to enter EU...I wonder why is that??...Regular folks are desperately trying to leave Kosovo,due to horrific life standard and conditions...there is also a lot of uranium that is causing huge numbers of cancers,thanks to “dear” allies of Albanians and their bombing in ‘99....what a charade ! Serbs are not your real enemy....but Albanian thugs that rule Kosovo and their western “friends”...It is ironical,but the biggest losers of Kosovo are Albanian people who got stuck there...

Well, the point is that Kosovo* is independent from Serbia. But you are correct that Kosovo is not independent from, say, the UN Security Council. The same is true for Serbia, since Serbia is not independent from the UN Security Council either.

If that’s true, how about we strip the Serbs in northern Kosovo of their Autonomy - and then we will see if there is nothing we can offer.

There should be but one line on Kosova's side, that line is to be reserved for the Serbian leadership's signature acknowledging and recognizing "unconditionally"
The Independent Republic Of Kosova period!
Then we can work on normalizing relations!!!
