Neither the United Kingdom nor Serbia, need the E.U. Independent but cooperative is the way to succeed. The E.U. is destined to fail because its goal is to erase cultural and historical identity. All people of pride eventually reject such efforts.

Talk about being delusional. The UK is leaving the EU but will continue to help the Balkans join the EU. These people from Whitehall live in 1718 not 2018 - once the UK leaves no one will care what they think since they will be very busy trying to survive.

Rarely, if ever vote, not even against the well-known troll.
But you got a "+" from me for that.

UK is going to disappear into insignificance, so does the £.

The only winners are the outsiders who bid on British auctions, valued in £.

A de-valuated national currency is not necessarily bad, if you have ANYTHING to export.

What was last time you did buy a Jaguar... and who owns the Jaguar (or Rower if that matters) anyway?

The next what is going to destroy them is the immigration from India and, inshallah, Pakistan.

You had now the second anniversary of the Brexit vote and therefore you’re in a position to judge whether the project fear made by world neo-liberal fellow travellers had any substance of truth.
Take for example the predictions made by George Osborne, and the IMF who came up with two scenarios for the aftermath of a vote to leave the EU. According to Osborne GDP would be 3.6 per cent lower after two years (compared with if the country had voted to remain) and unemployment would rise by 520,000.
How is the UK getting on? GDP is now 3.3 per cent higher than it was this time two years ago.As regards to employment the latest figures show
the number of people in work is 32.26 million – over half a million more than in June 2016.
If I were May I would pay nothing to EU commies and I will leave on no deal and trade on WTO rules.

SJ - your comment is sad but true. I have no idea why Britain sees itself as important and Brexit is going to destroy the country financially.

Don’t get me wrong when I “bash” the UK I certainly don’t have that opinion about the people there. I have found Brits to be far smarter and don’t bend to propaganda unlike the Americans who have no brains left to wash.
I was in Cyprus in late April this year and I asked 2 Dutch businessmen staying at the same hotel what they thought of Brexit and consequences for the UK. They both said the Brits will only feel it in 5 years’ time and it will not be pleasant.
