A conversation between the Australian joke of a Foreign Minister, Julie Bishop, and her New Zealand counterpart, Winston Peters, held on TV in New Zealand.
For those that don’t know Bishop, she became our laughing stock after making a very disparaging remarks about the Russians then she went running, literally, after the Russians at a Pacific forum to apologise.
Winston Peters said that all they know about the downing is that the missile was made in Russian and nothing else – they don’t know who fired it. Our illustrious Bishop piped in and replied that they do have the evidence that points directly to Russia. Peters is a wily old fox of a politician so he said if that was the case why not release it so the entire world can see.
Her reply? They can’t because its top secret LOL. Peters :1 Bishop: 0 due to own goal.
It is interesting why the Dutch investigation is aimed at justifying its conclusions by using only images from social media that were edited by computer graphics. By the way, part of the images that was shown during the briefing,had been prepared by Ukrainian special services.
This fake investigation used information gathered from YouTube to reach this conclusion. They have got more reliable information available but choose not to refer to it. For example, the Russians found the Black Box recorder and gave it to the Dutch, who then then gave it to the British who have thrown it into the Memory Hole. No one mentions the Black Box which recorded the last minutes of the flight including the voices of the pilots. The Americans had several military Spy Satellites over the Donbas and recorded every detail of the flight and its downing. That information was not mentioned by this investigation and has not been sought. The Ukrainian Air Traffic Control recorded conversations with the pilots, that recording has disappeared. Activities which were once considered normal in any investigation have been abandoned and replaced with “evidence” from YouTube and Twitter. Welcome to Western Democracy.
This is part of our tragedy and a failure of our national character.
From the point of view of character failure it does really no matter, was it ultimately a Russian / Uprising / Ukrainian - owned missile or not.
It's same sh*t.
Under different circumstances the same character failure could be character advantage.
Now it is a tragedy.
But! Being American is a different kind of sh*t, you see a different kind of character failure.
Russia will still deny it. At least they gave up their ridiculous claim that MH17 was downed by an Ukrainian fighter plane which Russia tried to 'prove' by faked satellite and radar images.
Later, after it was clear that only a BUK missile could have caused that type of damage on the found parts of the plane wreck, they accepted that it was downed by a BUK missile - of course not by a Russian owned, as expected.
@truth hurtsIt flew from Netherlands, belonged to Malaysia, was shot down over Ukraine, and the vast majority of passengers were from Netherlands, Malaysia, Australia and Belgium. Those countries have every reason and right to investigate!
