Let's look in the crystal ball for a moment. The west has come out with another one of its half arsed plan - offering Serbia some but not enough for Belgrade to adopt it. Belgrade will then ask the people of Serbia via a referendum what they want to do and the result will be a resounding No to the proposal.

Knowing how the west loves asking the people LOL they will try to do everything to avoid that, since they are loving democracy and freedom. Then its back to square one. This will go on for another two years and that is when things will start to change dramatically in Serbia's favor.

Attashari also had a plan. Where did that plan go? The west also had a plan for Assad's replacement in Syria. I wouldn't sweat any "plan". It's only words on paper and meaningless if it isn't implemented.

I am an American who understands the Serbian position regarding Kosovo. Mr. Vucic needs to take into account that president Trump was elected in order to be a disruptor and to turn around some of the wrongs that have been committed by politicians and America's past. Most likely he would be very amenable to reconsidering who is on the right side of History regarding the Yugoslav War. It would surprise me if you were not able to convince him that there's been a elite cabal aligned against Serbia to make them look bad in to choose sides of Kosovo and others against Serbia. It was even barely reported here that Mr milosevic was exonerated of all his charges. I also don't remember it ever being reported here in America that Mr milosevic died while in custody after being denied his heart medications. I really think that's some convincing arguments could be made for the fact that the wrong choices been made in this regarding that he needs to come in and realign our country's relationships to be more in line with our actual interest.

Everyone knows what the "Plan". There is nothing new, the EU will insist Serbia recognizes Kosovo, after which Serbia will be eligible to join the EU when she completes all conditions stipulated. The only other catch will be Serbia can't be a member of the EU until it joins NATO, this is an unwritten condition of late.

This “interest” is in fact based on the needs of the US military industrial complex for perpetual war and instability. Ethnocentric antagonism in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia is a cornerstone of US “interests” and foreign policy.

After a year and a half of negotiations, the Finnish guy got frustrated with Serbia and steam rolled over Serbia's negotiators. Later on, Serbia held onto the Ahtisaari plan like a drowning man grasps a piece of drift wood. If you recall, Milosevic was warned 31 times before Nato's promise was delivered.
