Serbian president "delays" his Kosovo proposal

Mr. Vucic, it's less about humiliation and more about principle. The Albanians are trying to steal your land, most of the world would agree that a principled stand is appropriate in this situation. I think less people care about humility, and maybe the factual argument that Kosovo is part of Serbia would work better for you. Don't start sounding like your two babbling idiot counterparts, Thaci and Haradinaj, this will cause you to lose credibility.

Vučić was explained the simple demographics. He is now fully aware that delaying the final agreement with Albanians gives the latter ones huge numerical advantages just few decades in the future.

With this rate of mass depopulation of Serbia, currently by the rate of 107 a day, all that Albanians have to do is to not agree to any deal - which they are doing anyway.

The No-Deal-Situation plays in the hand of Albanians and freezing the conflict for some future times, in essence means, Albanians have no side to be in conflict with.

30 years from now, all Serbs will live in care homes for elderly people. That's the time to negotiate. Nappies will suffice.

Blah, Blah, Blah, Kosovo, Kosovo. This clown needs to change his tune and the first thing Albanians should do once Kosovo’s independence is finalised is change the name to Dardania just to rub a little extra salt on Serbian wounds. The name Kosovo has little importance to Albanians or the Balkans but the kingdom of Dardania was an important part of Balkan history and it’s heritage.

Bravo Vucice - tread carefully and and I agree with you...people will take a "frozen conflict" and wait for better days than to allow others to steal our land!

Albanians are missing a very important train here. Vucic is trying to come up with a compromise that allows him to avoid losing face while the Albanians keep trying to play stupid games that are costing them.in the long run (Read Spain denying Kosovo's chance to join the EU). If Albanians don't want to talk to Vucic and hear him out, Kosovo will remain stuck the way it is forever: poor, underdeveloped, and isolated. Good luck with that future.

The European countries will still do business with Serbia regardless if it's an EU member or not. Look at the present situation, investments are coming in regardless. This is the opinion of many Serbian political analysts. Vucic wants to create the image that Serbia will be become a foregone conclusion if it does not abandon Kosovo. This is inaccurate! I guess it's time for the SRS or Dveri to step at bat and for Serbia to forge with the Russians.

Vucic, you have no timeframe from your own people, that's what matters the most. If negotiations remain deadlocked, so be it.

I guess Vucic knows the outcome if it comes down to a referendum thereby relieving him of telling the EU to f***off. It's like a lawyer (which he is), never ask a question to which you do not know the answer to. If he will in fact allow a referendum then good job Vucic. Don't worry, it'll be business as usual the following day except that Serbia will be better respected for standing up for what is theirs.
