@Jugoslavija
If you want to compare Tito time with time under nationalists you are welcome.
People could get old in dignity and hade at least a health insurance.
What is better today?
Tito never called for war, the nationalists created one.
The JNA was made and trained to defend against outside enemies, not to fight a civil war. Beside that nationalism in the republics started at least 5 to 8 years before the war.
It was not all good and fair under Tito and he was more equal than others but he did not call for war like the current president did in the 90s.

Showing off with military deals and keeping up hatress on other groups is what this government does mostly beside beeing every 5 minutes on TV. Vucic should habe became an actor if he likes to be so much on TV.
(Tito reloaded, 4 April 2018 13:14)

Tito Unloaded;

That sounds like Emperor Tito who stole millions from the Yugoslav people and the IMF to fund the military and his palaces. In the end, the Yugoslav army could not take orders as they were a bunch of over paid bureaucrats and sacrificed the lives of innocent JNA soldiers first being tricked in Slovenia and the then Bosnia Herzegovina in 1992.

I guess that wording says it all. ;)
you speak for yourself. What did the current elected government do to improve life in serbia? Pension? Economy is on sale, many people have to work without contracts and health insurance. Corruption?

It does not make anybody happier in Serbia if he has to starve because of a Serbian government or a foreign power.
(Tito reloaded, 3 April 2018 15:14)

It makes a big difference actually. We elect our leader based on our constitution.
We have nothing to do with a foreign power that is causing us to starve.

All continuing to be stirred up by the Russkies who have absolutely no interest in a peace. They want all Balkans to become a war zone and have a good reason to interfere politically and military in order to cause as much misery and havoc as they could.

@Zoran
It is not all black and white. There were Serbian people fighting Osman Empire, Habsburg empire or the third reich, but there were also people that helped and supported them.
It is not always the serbs, the albanians, the turks, the germans,... Each person has his own story, there is no this or that...

History is an up and down of power. Osman empire and Habsburg empire had so much inside troubles their faith was decided even before 1900.
For normal people it does not matter if they have to work for an administration sitting in Istanbul, Vienna, Belgrade, Pristina,...or because of who they starve.
It does not make anybody happier in Serbia if he has to starve because of a Serbian government or a foreign power.

Lol it’s not Prishtina sending in trains filled with nationalistic symbols, conducting air drills near Kosovo’s border, sending in ministers illegally to provoke others and claiming sovereign leaders will crawl before the Serbian army. If Prishtina really took these things seriously and Albanians really wanted to provoke Serbia, we could be extra petty and beyond cruel in our provocations but we know it won’t benfit us in the long run. This fat clown is a Putin mouthpiece that will probably oust Vucic in a Russian backed Coup.
(Guest, 3 April 2018 13:05)

Guest, as far as I know, Kosovo is STILL considered a territory of Serbia, and sending a train into your territory isn't breaking any rules. They're flying jets NEAR the Kosovo border and not over Kosovo airspace; however, if they chose to fly over Kosovo, they should be able because it is STILL considered Serbian territory. The ministers went into Kosovo legally, they followed all the rules - you know, 24 hour advance warning. And, they were provoked into making comments about crawling - first look and see what you minsters said before you point fingers.

One thing is certain, Serbs have always fought for freedom before all empires... the Ottomans, Austro-hungarians, NAZIs and we were always part of the force that destroyed them. With the US/NATO occupation, we are watching the rot spread within while our friends, especially Russia and China, become world leaders. It will not end too well for those that cleansed regions of hundreds of thousands of Serbs.

If you know it won't benefit you, why do you constantly try things like attempting to control the north, dragging Serbian officials through the street, trying to form an army when everyone says you can't, tear gas parliament to prevent implementing the Brussels Agreement, arresting random Serbs on charges of war crimes because some local Albanian peasant says so, and preventing Serb returnees from returning? You're right it won't get you anywhere since Kosovo lost another recognition today.
