After WW2 there was a dispute over Trieste and the first troops sent went to Kosovo – my father was one of those soldiers.

I've studied Kosovo's history and the only period of relative peace I could find lasted from 1974 to 1981. Before that and after that, there's so much acrimony, mutual hate, not to speak of murders and atrocities. I'm sure even 74-81 was not all roses but relatively was not as violent as the other time that Albanians were in Yugoslavia.
That's a whopping 7 years, out of 87 years of their forced coexistence. A terrible record. Whoever on the Serbian side thinks that they would be able to return Kosovo and it will be peaceful after that for Serbia, are only deluding themselves. Serbia would be jumping with both feet into the fire and would be sacrificing the future of their generations to come in perpetual conflict.

The European Union is either blind or stupid. Serbia is eating with two spoons, one with EU and the other with Russia. The EU and Russia have bad relation right now, so how is EU still letting Serbia have this good relation with Russia. There should be a warning from EU saying, either EU or Russia. Neither Milosevic nor Thaci gave a shit about people, they only wanted power for themself and their friends. United with Serbia there would be already Visa free traveling, maybe soon the EU membership. To keep north Kosovo is like Serbia trying to keep Kosovo. It only helps the nationalists at power, because both sides see only the outside enemy, also the one inside is directly using you and is living on you back.

I see that they don't care about Serbs in Kosovo. Serbs in Kosovo live in peace with Albanians. Till someone from Belgrade is send to make troubles. They eliminated even Ivanovic, so there is not a Serbian voice against Belgrade.

The European Union is either blind or stupid. Serbia is eating with two spoons, one with EU and the other with Russia. The EU and Russia have bad relation right now, so how is EU still letting Serbia have this good relation with Russia. There should be a warning from EU saying, either EU or Russia. After WW2 there was a dispute over Trieste and the first troops sent went to Kosovo – my father was one of those soldiers.
Its not as difficult as people think since the population of Kosovo has fallen substantially. Prior to 1999 there were 1.8 million Albanians, but today its less than 1.3 million. In fact, Albanians from Albania moved in believing that the US would pave the roads with gold once it took over. In a matter of 5 years you can reduce the population to less than 400,000. No jobs no future.

I've studied Kosovo's history and the only period of relative peace I could find lasted from 1974 to 1981. Before that and after that, there's so much acrimony, mutual hate, not to speak of murders and atrocities. I'm sure even 74-81 was not all roses but relatively was not as violent as the other time that Albanians were in Yugoslavia.
That's a whopping 7 years, out of 87 years of their forced coexistence. A terrible record. Whoever on the Serbian side thinks that they would be able to return Kosovo and it will be peaceful after that for Serbia, are only deluding themselves. Serbia would be jumping with both feet into the fire and would be sacrificing the future of their generations to come in perpetual conflict.
