"No further progress" in technical Kosovo dialogue - EU

"No further progress has been achieved" in this week's technical level dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, the European Commission said on Wednesday.

Which is Pristina, the chicken or the egg? Or maybe both? It seems that it is the latter when it suits it.

Their strategy of doing nothing in order to exasperate their patrons in to putting pressure on the other side 'to do something first in the hope that a promise that Pristina will eventually do something they already agreed to do' has not changed.

Apparently Germany is now (unofficially of course, a bit like the Mafia 'unofficially' asking you to make a contribution to its 'children's fund') asking for Serbia to agree to Pristina having UN Observer status. Is Berlin that dumb or don't they care any more? Who knows.
