They can get better conditions in Serbia with no headache, in Serbia you have the same territory of villages as the size of Kosovo empty.

Over 500,000 have left Kosovo since 1999 and that number continues to rise. The young are leaving at every opportunity never to return. I think Kosovo's actual population is under 1 million. Some villages are empty while others only have elderly people still there.

I did not say give it away, I pointed the reason why the number is low is people have moved on. They maybe sold out, maybe they rent and in some cases maybe it has been taken over which through courts they should get it back.
I am not advocating Serbs not to return but I am just saying people left after 18 or 19 years people dont want to go back they have new lives.

This is, by and large, correct. The trickle of returnees is more indicative of the little prospects of (re)starting a sustainable life in Kosovo. Also, no Serb will want to return to a place that isn't already designated as Serb-controlled, so this has less to do with threats of Albanian extremism and more of a larger case of people leaving socio-economically dilapidated regions and having little interest in returning.
Aside from maybe northern Kosovo, the only place worth moving to is Gracanica.
The same holds for any Serb not wanting to return to Knin, or somewhere in the middle of nowhere Slavonia.
And how many Albanians who have left Kosovo really want to return? They're leaving in droves too.
No point in talking about people returning to a place if there's nothing worth returning to.

Dude your missing the point! how would you like to leave all of your property that was passed on to you from your grandfather simply to have some Albo Egg heads take it over?? for FREE, just because the Serbs have been threatened to leave or else the Albos would burn down their house down? Ahhh ok now you understand?? I'm sure many Serbs would love to leave unfortunately when you don't have what it takes to move and start over it makes it tough.

In 2017 498 persons returned to Kosovo - the lowest number since 2000.
Think about it people who have lived away from Kosovo for 18years have started new lives in Serbia, Europe or US why would they return.
This is not about arguing but people dont like to farm anymore and Kosovo has very few factories or jobs so why would a Serb return to Kosovo for the patriotism of people who live In Beograd or in Canada/USA/Australia?
