I dont think it is in the interest of the Serbian goernemnt for him to be killed but they will shed no tears for him and will use this event for their own gain.
He was a thorn in the side of the SNS-Serb List becasue he was a local who had a lot of respect.
He fought against the Albanians but was also willing to work with them.
I dont want to make him out as a hero but he was a local fighting for the locals. The SNS Serb List are fighting for SNS interests and used local criminals to intimidate him, his political associates and anyone that gets in their way.
In return the companies owned by criminals get contracts from the Serbian governemnt which they can skim huge amounts of money from and the police are not allowed to interfere.
