You are right. Up to 1958 the primary language spoken in Dalmatia was Italian. The Croats have no culture or history since everything they lay claim already belongs to someone else. All they do is change it to make it "Croatian". They even asked the Serbs to use the Cyrillic alphabet after WW1.

They also lay claim to Tesla, but Croatia did not exist at the time. The only reason they don’t lay claim to the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s palace in Split is because they would come into utter ridicule by the rest of the world otherwise they would.
