"In two years". By this time, Kosovo's recognition can dip even further! Every month another country, or two, recinds their recognition. So, in two years, 24 countries!!!

If Kosova is not a state then why do i not see a Serbian flag in Pristina. There is only room for one eagle and its color is black. 🦅

Yes, it should show that. For example by fighting corruption, fighting the mafia, implementing the Brussels agreements. It could show stability by police forces that implement the law and fight for protection of human rights of minorities.

Well. To be honest, Kosovo had the chance to show exactly that for more than 10 years now. It didn't happen, it showed the opposite.

But other CoE members are entitled to their opinion, too and they do not take orders from Ivica about which entity to recognise as a state because nobody has appointed Ivica as the global authority for issuing certificates of statehood :)

@ icj1 - Sweetie, how can you be SO ignorant?? There are certain "norms" every country needs to conform in joining CoE...and "kosova" is not a country! That's all Ivica is telling you! It's not stuff he just pulled from his ass, it's called RULES! Kinda like "you can't steal another countrys land and call it a "country" type of rule;)

and what about croatia, montenegro, and bosnia, all able to fulfill their obligations for high membership in the eu community, fulfilling law and order requirements etc and support the nato gdp requirements.

Switzerland joined the CoE in 1963 and become a member of the UN in 2002. I think this is a precedent that Dacic should re-familiarize himself with. And Serbia/Montenegro joined the CoE in 2003 a year after the Swiss became a "county" as per his criteria. Just saying!
