No, icj1 the reasons are very different. Serbia was bombed for 78 days by the strongest military force in the world. In addition, Serbia has had to endure economic sanctions placed on them. These are major hurdles to overcome for any country and I would say that, all things considered, Serbia is doing extremely well in comparison to Albania and Kosovo who have had no such challenges placed on them. Had Albania and Kosovo faced the obstacles mentioned above, I think it's fair to say they wouldn't exist today. So icj1, as much as you hate everything and anything Serb, by any measure Serbia has overcome and continues to overcome obstacles that most others would not. There are many, many Turkish words in the Serbian language, but you'll never hear a Serb say he is a Turk. Serbs have a culture and it and has been around for more than 1,000 years. This doesn't mean that Albanians didn't exist long ago, but because there is no visable trace of Albanian society and culture, it is difficult to determine where your people came from and when. No, icj1 the reasons are very different. Serbia was bombed for 78 days by the strongest military force in the world. In addition, Serbia has had to endure economic sanctions placed on them. These are major hurdles to overcome for any country and I would say that, all things considered, Serbia is doing extremely well in comparison to Albania and Kosovo who have had no such challenges placed on them. Had Albania and Kosovo faced the obstacles mentioned above, I think it's fair to say they wouldn't exist today. So icj1, as much as you hate everything and anything Serb, by any measure Serbia has overcome and continues to overcome obstacles that most others would not. Now, since you interjected in a thread that was directed to you, please go back and snswer the original question to Vari sweetie.
