Serbia is already acting like that but its time you start acting like Taiwan.. why dont YOU imitate Serbia and start an internal dialogue on status issue ? Be smart and pragmatic for the sake of your citizens. Kosovaaaa has real chance to join EU as part of a smart deal with Serbia. Kosovaaaa has no real chance to join anything if you dont come to a compromise internally and then with Serbia. Those EU countries that dont recognize Kosovaaaa will never open EU negotiations with you. Not because pro-serb and anti-albanian but because they care about their own territory and Madagascars pinguins very lovely pinguins cant do anything to change the reality. So whats the point of being stubborn like a mule here? Whats the point of not listening to the last 2 US ambassadors who have repeatedly said that the world has no time to wait for Kosovaaa to be smart?

The Kosovo Albanian politicians think they can pull the old trick of taking different positions to stop the adoption of stuff they've already agreed to, whether the border with Montenegro or promising to Brussels that it will adopt and implement the Serb municipalities. No wonder they are so desperate to get the Americans involved. Pristina signed on the dotted line and now they are whining like a bunch of six year olds throwing tantrums left, right and center. It's not a country, its a kindergarden.

I would agree that Srbija doesn't have to SAY it recognizes, however, until it DOES SAY it, nobody will invest in your "country", when legal issues will be the main focus...

If we abstract from the Kosvo/Kosova silliness, the two absolutely best politicians today
are B.P. and V.V.P. "By accident" they have very good personal relationship.

I have big concerns about both tough, long story, why.

IMO, VVP is (far) more primitive than B.P. and I am telling you that as Russian.

His (VVP) language and style needs to be polished, this is for many of us a show-stopper. As paradox, the (Russian) language of B.P. is better.

Of course, family reasons, OK, understand. But still. Never underestimate the language!

An other thing... because our country is big and one of the most ancient... it's OK if someone speaks Russian with Albanian accent. But than both (i.e. Russian and Albanian) have to be of DECENT quality. Otherwise people will question the quality of the person as a president.
