I beg to differ with you, Serbia and Russia are the only two countries where the past, hence History, is uncertain.
(The Count of Kosova, 1 December 2017 05:50)

The past of any country is uncertain, the history is the #1 thing what is falsified.
In Europe the falsificator #1 is the Roman Catholic Church, other (churches) follow closely.

Yes @sj, keep protecting your dissident mind from the overwhelming reality, that will work very well for the purposes of understanding world order. The US is the #1 economy in the world, because economies are not measured simply by size (as some countries inevitably will have bigger economies due to their population sizes). However keep digging deeper into R&D, demographics, education, quality and type of products, etc. and you'll see just how “Chinese” is China's #1 spot in reality. It's obvious your estimation of what constitutes a #1 or #2 economy is formed by a mix of wishful thinking and skewed interpretation of data. As far as all of the Mideastern examples you gave, there you also don't seem to account for changes in priorities. For you, success means 100% return on investment, while the US is not that dumb. It can revisit things anytime it wants if they become truly important, but most of the time it's only interested in numbing situations rather than resolving them completely. What may seem like failed projects to you, are just routine practice by the US. With South China Sea, again, status quo is stable, the US doesn't have to do anything other than keep it's presence. If China is so powerful, it can challenge US presence in the region, let's see how well that works. And with North Korea, well if they really want to play, perhaps that can be one example that can really open your eyes wide towards what the US can do to bad rogues like NK, Serbia, and the like.

It’s obvious you live in the US because after watching and reading US media that is exactly what one would think. US propaganda is worthy of any communist state. Watching North Korean TV and US TV, you can’t tell the difference except for the dress and language.

Let’s take a closer look at “God”.

Is US the No.1 economy in the world? No
China is No1. In fact, by 2020 China’s middle class will rise to 700 million while the US is declining rapidly.

Is the US still the financial powerhouse of the world? No
That has gone to Asia after the GFC.
Does the US have the most powerful; army in the world? No

After their unilateral disasters in Iraq and Afghanistan they are not. Then we look at the bungled efforts to remove Erdogan turning an ally into an enemy and supporter of Russia in one single action.

Have they made inroads into Syria? No. In fact the US has abandoned Syrian opposition and both the Syrian and Iraqi Kurds. The US has made such a mess that for the first time the Saudi King went to Moscow for talks with Putin.

South China Sea? Lost. North Korea? The US is only making itself look like a bigger fool the way its handing that one. The saying goes talk quietly and carry a big stick, but the US does not have a big stick so it yells.

Yes, I can see why you call the US God LOL.

These stories are refreshed every couple of years. This one is about 10 years old. For these stories to have any validity you need Angela Merkel to openly state this requirement not some politician of no consequence.

The EU has been sending out signals of a slow down on admitting countries into the EU. However, after the Budapest forum Johannes Hahn woke up from his nap and he now proclaims that there is more room in the EU and Serbia is most welcome – another 3 chapters before Christmas LOL.

I tire from people like you pointing out these stories that not factual. I wish Serbia never joins the EU.

You really can’t see the writing on the wall.

Jadrnka Joksimovic stated:
I'm sorry to hear that the Atlantic Council thinks the US and Serbia have had such bad relations until now, that a historic reconciliation needs to occur," the Serbian minister for EU Integration also said on Wednesday, adding:

"They would have been better off recalling that we were allies in the difficult 20th century, and that this is a good historical basis for even better relations."
-------

Jadrnka,
Perhaps, if Serbia and Serbian people at least pretended not to have a chip on their shoulder and was friendly to the US, other than when we give them money, the US would have more trust in Serbia.

For God's sake, Serbs can't even refrain from bristling when they hear the expression:
"A little light humanitarian bombing".

The US is God in this world, and the sooner you accept that basic reality of international affairs, the happier you will be. Otherwise you'll always be considered a spoiler and a dissident, and you will always get a raw deal in a geography that belongs to the West. You're located in the wrong piece of land to be having the type of mentality that you have. Your diplomacy would be more appropriate if you were located in Belarus or Vietnam. But in the Balkans? Forget it. Anything straying from western policy for the area meets only with frustration and failure. Embrace the West and you'll stop having the challenges and issues that you have currently. Don't, and continue to roam around the world begging Suriname to revoke a worthless recognition.

You've stopped being a US ally the minute that you chose to associate with Russia, and now China. Your reputation will only suffer more in this world because the US and Western media decide the narrative. Nobody can even read your narrative, most of which is written in symbol language and reaches only irrelevant people. So forget about getting any benefits, and be prepared to negotiate with the US seated right there, center stage. They will decide the terms, not you, not EU, not Kosovo. Forget it. There is a general strategy in place for this area and it's called western integration. Anything straying from western policy for the area meets only with frustration and failure. Embrace the West and you'll stop having the challenges and issues that you have currently. Don't, and continue to roam around the world begging Suriname to revoke a worthless recognition.

The US a global power LOL. Its more a windbag these days boring all that want to listen at how powerful they still are.

To remind the Serbs to think hard on US offer of reconciliation. Give the following a thought:

1. The US and UK bombed Belgrade during WW2 but did not bomb Zagreb.
2. The US helped Ustashi criminals escape justice after WW2
3. The US bombed Serbia in 1999 and celebrated when they did that. Recall the 19 NATO representatives when they were dancing with joy?
4. The US established The Hague Tribunal as revenge against the Serbs.
5. The US helped create the Srebrenica myth.
6. The US placed the worst sanctions in history against the Serbs in the 1990s to punish them.
7. The US propagated the Sarajevo market massacre despite the fact the UN said in its report that mortar shells did not come from Serb positions.
8. The US pushed many countries to recognize Kosovo.
9. The US undermined Serbia at every turn.
10. The US spread lies throughout the world about so called Serb atrocities in the Balkans.
11. The US supported UK’s draft resolution on Srebrenica being declared genocide.

I may have missed something but I will add it to my list.
