I think Thomas forgets or likes to forget that the EU did the very same thing with Kosovo, but there again its standard procedure in the west "do as I say not as I do".

Unlike Kosovo, which broke away without a vote, the people of Crimea, who are majority Russian, voted to "Re unify" with Russia.

Regarding Syria.
No one invited the US to occupy Syrian territory but the Americans find no problem being there without Syria permission.
The Syrian people didnt have a choice, the Americans just moved right in. But you complain when the people of Crimea decide their own fate.

What ever happen the phrase "right to self determination"?

This is only allowed to certain countries out of political expediency.

I am the least famous person in the world. I am completely in opposition to Serbian and the current Russian and the current Hungarian and the current American government.

I hate Ceca. I hate popular Serbian, popular Hungarian, popular Russian and American Western songs.

I am rarely listening to Russian or Serbian or Hungarian (or Jewish) music... only once in a while, I am picky on that.

BTW: I am Russian, Hungarian, American. I love all these places and of course, Serbia.

I do not chose a single one. I learned how to deal with all this and I think, I am OK with all my identities. That guy is an idiot.

Serbia should not be forced to choose a bloc. Having good relation to Russia is important and EU must accept that. The utopian position is to have good relations with both the countries in EU and Russia. It should not be impossible to achieve.
