1. Kurdistan has a big issue with all its neighbors and Iraq who do not want to give it independence due to Kurds in those countries.

2. Geography dictates that Kurdish people are patient even though they truly deserve their own nation.

Serbia/ Kosovo case - All neighbors bordering Kosovo have accepted it as independent except Serbia.

Goods can move freely so can people, from Kosovo vs Kurdistan won't be able too.

Serbia does not want Kosovo back they want the north of Kosovo back, they do not want to change constitution nor plan to have Albanians as a large minority in a country who is about to join EU where they can not bully them like in the past.

Hence in Serbia there is internal dialogue to have some sugar coat to the pill they will have to swallow in due time. Much easier to integrate 40k Serbs in Kosovo than Albanians in Serbia.

If Serbia was so successful, they wouldn't be begging to join the EU. They see the EU as their salvation and in the end will recognize Kosova in order to become a member. Serbia would throw Russia under the bus in a second if the EU would grant them membership. However, it is not that simple, EU bureaucrats have been offering the Serbs possible dates of admission, only to delay these dates each time the Serbs started to salivate. It should be obvious to the Serbs that the EU is jerking them around and has no intention of granting membership until they recognize Kosova and turn their back on Russia.

It’s very hard for you to accept that if the US can screw the Kurds after making them promises, and the Kurds have given a lot more than the Albanians then doing the same with Albanians in Kosovo is not a problem. It’s how the US operates.
