The Committee to Protect Journalists called on authorities in Malta to swiftly ensure justice for Daphne Caruana Galizia, a prominent blogger killed on Monday.

Well, there’s a list of possible culprits - those she wrote about.
The Maltese government is not competent to investigate this because of government level involvement.
An independent organisation must become involved. How about the EU doing it? They’ve gained some experience of that kind of thing in Kosovo I guess.
Shame for Malta - it’s always had a pretty good reputation, but this changes the perception of it very negatively.
