I find some of these western apparatchiks very odd indeed with what they say. Of course Putin is interested in the EU, the Balkans are small fry while the EU is the big game.

After meeting with officials in Belgrade and this guy still thinks that Serbia is only interested in joining the EU, then why hasn't Belgrade joined in the sanctions on Moscow?

Moscow will never abandon Serbia. But its most refreshing to read the truth in that Serbia is the most important player in the region; not BiH, Macedonia, Montenegro, Croatia or Slovenia, but Serbia.

I see a few comments here and there on this site by some ignorant Serbian people stating that Dear Mother Russia does not care for us Serbian people - very very very un true ! Rusia has been there for Srbija many many many times !!! How much has Serbian people done for Russia ? We serbian people must not always expect Russia to do this or that for our benifit unless we Serb's also in return do positive things in the mutual benifit of both srbija and Russia ! So how can we serbian people ever permit Hitler and his Nazi evil and wicked descipals to come between Slavic Brotherly Love !!!

You are lying, however, when you claim that Russia will never abandon Serbia. Unless, of course, you had amnesia for those 78 days and nights of Humanitarian Bombing back in 1999. I remember, rather vividly, that you were livid when Russia didn't lift a finger to help its poor little brother while the world watched on with joy as Serbia, not BiH, Macedonia, Montenegro, Croatia or Slovenia, but Serbia was transformed into a heap of rubble.

Serbia was not reduced to a heap of rubble and Serbian weapons were barely touched.
You must have a learning disability because we keep telling you over and over that Russia wasn't in a position to help Serbia then but now is a different matter.

Sure, Putin is running a wonderful "world" composed of Armenia, Belarus, Bolivia, Cuba, Nicaragua, North Korea, Russia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, and Zimbabwe (those were the countries that accepted Putin's views when the UNGA voted about Ukraine)!

I agree with "Putin doesn't care about Balkans". But weakening EU is only the side effect of securing Russian influence in the Balkans. A visible military camp would not be tolerated, so they call it a 'humanitarian help centre'.

And I agree with "Pristina will not be ready for EU accession even in 30 years." It's the right observation, it means one generation, and the hope is that, until then, all the war criminals and mafia clan leaders which play politicians in Pristina have met their maker and a new generation of people who really care about Kosovo and the people living there and not about their clans will be ready.

It's simple: You cannot form something new withe people from the past -especially if these people have a dark past.
