Serbian trains run in KiM. Serbian passports are issued to residents in KiM. Residents in KiM attend Serbian Universities and benefit from the Serbian education system. Oddly, the tension between these nations of the former Yugoslavia has created a bond that makes it feel like Yugoslavia again.

As a foreign minister, even of a self-proclaimed state which has the status as "disputed territory" according to Wikipedia he should know about the procedures of becoming an UN member state. It has nothing to do with the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, and it's not Serbia who can block an access, but it's the UNSC veto powers. And, be sure, I don't see a reason why Russia should abstain from vetoing Kosovo membership. The only constellation I can imagine is a dirty 'deal' with simultanously accpting the other pseudo-states called South Ossetia and Abchasia as new UN member states, or an even more dirty deal with the west accepting Crimea as part of Russia in exchange.

There is by no circumstance in the world that Kosovo will become a UN country with these borders.

1. Sets precedent hence why other EU states don't recognize it.
2. Russia and China will do anything to make sure USA doesn't get its way.

The FRY is not the successor of SFRY. Just because the names are similar, it does not make the FRY the successor of the SFRY. That being said, the implications for the greater albanian cause are disastrous.
Not only will european support fade away with improving relations to Russia ( and China as the silent Power in the hinterland ) but also US american engagement will sooner or later shift towards domestic and regional matters.
And as we have seen in the past with other nations, american lapdogs will become useless and therefore lose support.

To cut it short, Albanians should either prepare to fight a hopeless battle or adjust to the geopolitical changes. It's in their own interest...

why do you waste everybody's time by forcing us to show you common facts:

FACT-the-1:The UN officially came into existence on 24 October 1945
FACT-the-2:after ratification of the United Nations Charter by the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council (China, France, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States) and a majority of the other signatories
FACT-the-3:A total of 51 original members (or founding members) joined that year
FACT-the-4:in that list of original members is found Democratic Federal Yugoslavia
FACT-the-5: Staff said : "successor of Yug", you took that to mean FYR, not DFY, which predates FYR, FYR was the successor of DFY, which is not the same thing.
FACT-the-6: Democratic Federal Yugoslavia was succeeded by Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia which was succeeded by Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
FACT-the-7: clearly you choose to read what you wish, and not what is written.

The UN disagrees with you which is why the UN told the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (today's Serbia) to apply for membership again (which it did in 2000).

Feel free to sort it out with the UN and let us know if you convince the UN that the UN is wrong and you are right lol

Dear, this is very simple... If anybody has any doubt about when Serbia became a UN member, he or she can simply go to the UN website and check what is the date of Serbia's UN membership.

the reality on the ground is 100 % ready for kosovo to join UN. also is time for serbia to withdraw from hungarian vojvodina and preshevo, bujanovc and medvegja. they should declare independence

I suggest to Kosovo dont put any importance in UN membership
Russia will veto it and it matters little in the long run'

but I do think you should continue to lobby for it just for the diplomatic experience
plus it annoys Serbs allot and that makes it all worth it
